We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Skagen Fiskerestaurant. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Every detail, from the lighting to the music, contributed to a fantastic dining experience.
As for the food, it was simply exceptional. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, clearly prepared with high-quality ingredients and great care.
Without a doubt, a five-star experience for service, ambiance, and cuisine. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it!

We dined here on a Wednesday evening; the place, besides the sand covered floor fanfare, we found it not an exceptional dining experience.
We found the food to be good, but not a wow moment.
The service just average.
For starter the Lobster Dog, and the Pommes Frites with Aioli; tasty.
My main course, Pan Fried Skagen Salmon; was well prepared and fresh tasting.
For dessert, Pancakes, but is more like Crepes not pancakes; but they were good.
With so many options in Stavanger, I will not probably patronize this establishment again.

I love fish and seafood, so visiting Skagen was a real disappointment for me. The portions were not adequate for the prices. The lobster starter barely tasted like lobster, yet it was priced like a main course. As for the fish and chips, one piece of fish was good, but the other was extremely tough and inedible.
However, the worst part was the service. The staff seemed completely uninterested in the guests or in providing proper service. The kitchen is open, so we could clearly see our dishes sitting ready on the counter while the staff were chatting instead of serving them.
I’m adding one star because the crab starter was actually very good.

Do not look for another fish restaurant in Stavanger but just come to Skagen. Food is divine, and the music and atmosphere makes you want to stay longer. Had some magical time! Thank you!

A nice evening meal, all of us went for the mussels which were a large portion each. Staff were friendly and provided good service. The atmosphere was nice hearing everyone having a good time without being loud, and we had a nice view onto the waterfront. The sand floor made for a interesting aesthetic.

Portions are large. My salmon tartare was very good. Steak was ok…. But that’s not a steakhouse, so not a problem at all. Steak came with some wild mushrooms- delicious!

We booked a table at Skagen on 17th May 12:15-14:30. We absolutely enjoyed there. A different interior to give you the feelings of Sandy beach. We wanted to change our table and they changed it immediately. Food was very fresh and different. We had buffet and the each food was delicious.
We asked one of the staffs if we can sit 15 minutes more then they agreed without any question. Just a small suggestion for betterment, the staffs are too focused on cleaning rather than asking the customers if they need more drink or to ask about the food or if everything is alright.
Overall best seafood restaurant in Stavanger.

We discovered this sand filled restaurant while walking around the water front. The prices seemed moderate compared to other places but you should expect to spend 1000 per person. We loved the oysters, mussels, lobster bisque, fish and chips. The service from Isak was tremendous and he went above and beyond to take care of us. We came to Stavanger to eat seafood and this place served those cravings. No tummy aches to report either.
