I placed an order for griot with rice, and 1 plate of stewed turkey and rice. The total was $48.00 i was shocked when she told me the total. I opened my plate the griot is filled with fat. I called the restaurant back to let them know that i mainly had fat and I do not eat that. The lady told me “ griot is fat”. I replied and told her i dont like those pieces. She said it again so i asked for a refund. She then said in a rude tone “just bring it back so i can give you more meat”. Nope i drove off and wont be back.

This was my second time at this restaurant, and honestly, I should have trusted my gut and not come back but I decided to give them another chance.
When I arrived, I asked for white rice. They told me they were out. Fine. I switched to rice and beans and ordered legume with turkey. I specifically asked if turkey was available, and the woman said yes, so I placed my order.
After waiting about 20 minutes for my food, I finally got it but there were no utensils. I had to ask for them, even though I was the only customer there. When I opened the plate, I realized there was no turkey at all. I asked about it, and she casually said, “Oh, it’s not in there.” I reminded her that I had asked for turkey, and she said, “Give me your plate, I’ll get it for you.”
Another 5 minutes go by, and then she comes back to tell me they’re out of turkey. Seriously? If they didn’t have turkey, they should’ve said that from the beginning, not after taking my order, my money, and wasting my time. And the utensil she gave me was just a spoon. What am I gonna do with that?
I spent $24 on a small plate of rice and legume — and it wasn’t even good or worth it. Absolutely no meat inside after being towed there would be beef in there so I have a video and pictures to show there’s no freaking meat in here.
When I asked for a refund, she told me she couldn’t process it because “the system wouldn’t allow it.” I even told her I’m familiar with the software and could show her how but she refused and told me to just dispute it with my bank instead. Totally unprofessional.
Bottom line:
• Terrible customer service
• Dishonest communication
• Overpriced for what you get
• Unprofessional handling of refunds
I left with food I didn’t want, upset, and extremely disappointed.
I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Zero stars.

My visit to this restaurant was extremely disappointing. When I arrived, a sign on the door said they were “bathroom break.” I called the listed number, and the woman said she was at the doctor and would be there in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes passed, I called again — she then said 5 more minutes. In reality, she arrived nearly 20 minutes later, and the food took another 30 minutes to prepare.
Unfortunately, the food wasn’t worth the wait or the high prices. The Haitian stewed turkey was dry and completely lacked flavor — no epis, no seasoning, just bland meat. The Djon Djon rice was hard & dry tasted only of the mushrooms but bitter, with no balance or additional seasoning.
To make matters worse, the woman working there had a rude attitude, offering no apology or courtesy for the delay or poor food quality. Between the wait, poor service, and disappointing food, I cannot recommend this restaurant. I hope they make serious improvements.
God himself can’t convince me to try this restaurant again!!!!!!! Absolute horrible experience if I could give negative ten stars I would!

Food is WAY too overpriced for the quantity. I paid $50 for a kid’s portion meatball and griot dinner that was not that tasty.
Also, the menu prices are not what’s being charged. Ordered a salmon dinner which was $22 on the menu; but I was charged $30. When I was asked why is there an $8 up charge, the lady just tapped the screen and said, “that’s the price…my new menu’s aren’t in yet.” I just asked for it to be taken off my order.
I tried to give this place a shot, but I will NOT be back. I’ve had Haitian food that was 10x better for half the price and 3 times the portion.

So my husband got a small fried fish that surprisingly cost $43 for no reason but I gave 3 stars cause he ate it, and I got legume with small portion of rice for $24 which was too salty to even eat. Customer service is non existing. Would I go back? Absolutely not!!

I didn’t stay in the establishment to order food because their prices are extremely ridiculous. The menu prices reads $10.00 lower than what is being charged. For example their shrimp creole was priced at $18, but it rung up for $29 dollars. I asked if it was a mistake and she said the prices on the menu is incorrect. I don’t mind paying for what I want, and I don’t mind supporting small businesses, but why the high prices?

I came here and ordered Legume and some chicken wings.. the food looked like dog food, slop! They took the food backand refused to give a refund. O had to call the police. I wrote a review on yelp and the owner decided to try and insult me instead of offering adequate customer service. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! HORRIBLE FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
