We went to the Sunday Buffet and enjoyed the fresh hot food. Egg rolls, Crab Rangoon, Fried Wontons, delicious cooked cabbage in pork dish, Fried Shrimp, love the green beans. There is a good variety to choose from. Come try this restaurant! Thank you to the owners for bringing back the old taproom of the buffet.

Heather was our server and she was very attentive. She’s passionate about Sizzling Wok and has great care for their success. I find her to be a valuable employee.

This place is great. It is a nostalgic piece of history. That is located in anderson township and i’ve been eating here since i was 8 years old and loved coming here for my birthdays!!! Im now 30 but sizzling wok is a crowd favorite and all ages love this place!! Definitely a gem! You will get amazing service and a friendly smile great place all around, it has changed ownership a few times but the food has always remained great and consistent!

I ordered take out tonight: chicken fried rice, plain lo mein, and combination pad Thai and I have never tasted a more flavorless and bland Chinese meal. I am convinced that the cooks added the meats to the entrees AFTER cooking the noodles and rice because the chicken was was white. It had no flavor or coloring that comes from stir frying with soy sauce or teriyaki sauce. Same with the beef and shrimp. The lo mein noodles were good but the rice and pad thai were absolutely the worst I’ve ever eaten and I’m a 45 year old korean man. So I’ve eaten a lot of Asian take out. It was also much expensive than other local Chinese restaurants, which only adds insult to injury.

Another disappointing Chinese restaurant experience. Food was mediocre, the size of the buffet was small for a total of $19.99 before tax. The bathroom smelled foul, in which was a real appetite spoiler from jump Street. The staff was nice, the atmosphere was homie and comfortable but the food needs real improvement for $20.00 excluding a drink and tip per person. The Szechuan house in sharonville is way better quality food, better buffet options, and is only $11.99 for the lunch buffet Monday through Friday 11:00 to 2:30.

I hadn’t been here for sometime, I wasn’t aware it had changed hands. I called ahead to find out if we needed reservations because it was a bd party. Told nope, but she took name anyway. We showed up for a birthday party on a Monday night. We were the only people at 7p. The hostess/server/carryout person explained about changing ownership. She had also blown up balloons, and decorated our table thoughtfully. She really handled it all, phones, orders, service and anything else that required a human to speak English. ( New owners haven’t quite got English down)
The food was really good and fresh, so I felt good about that. There were a couple things missing, but nothing we couldn’t live without. Drinks were refilled, and had a nice meal. That said, in future I think I’ll just treat this place as carry out .( They do a pretty robust carryout just by the 2.5 hours we were there) The food was really terrific, but atmosphere lacked. No music, but Wheel of Fortune was on, we could hear it. The wonderfully helpful woman was dressed like a bag lady, not hating on bag ladies, I have several friends that are..bag ladies)
I guess when your busier than a one armed man hanging wallpaper, that’s what you do.
I hope to see her again, just as a carry out customer, They seemed to have transitioned to this, so naturally, so will I. You should too!!

This place is a GEM. It’s been here forever and I haven’t been since I was a child. I’m not sure why we stopped going but I heard they offer dim sum and a new more authentic menu. I had to try.

The place is beautiful inside. We were the first and only customers in there on a Thursday afternoon. I was sad it was so dead. So I ordered a little extra.

We tried 4 dim sum dishes, everything was hot and fresh, absolutely delicious. Not many places you can get chicken feet these days!

We ordered 3 mains. Spicy pork belly, Szechuan kung pao chicken and spicy pork ribs with chilis. Everything was delicious. Great amount of heat in the food. We eat a lot of Thai food and this was a medium heat to us, it may be too spicy for some so def double check if your meal says spicy.

The owner was kind enough to give us spicy mapo tofu to try, it was amazing. Soft tofu in a spicy chili sauce.

We left with dinner, snack and lunch tomorrow! Please check this place out, esp if you haven’t been in a long time. The food is so very good

We had a group of 7 and all ordered something different. We were able to easily share our food choices using the turntable in the center of the table. Our waitress, Heather, was an absolute angel, and made an already perfect meal even better. I cannot believe how good every aspect of this meal was.

We had the garlic chicken, hunan chicken, General Tao Chicken, roast pork and green beans, the Shanghai combo, sesame chicken, and the sweet and sour chicken. We also had their AMAZING egg rolls, potstickers, and teriyaki chicken. My wife says the teriyaki chicken could have been the entire meal.
