Have lunch with a friend at this restaurant based on a recommendation. The portions of the food are quite good but there is no Wow factor in the taste. Also, note that the mild spicy level of the food may still be a bit too strong for those who are not used to having spicy food. However, as the price of the food is reasonable, this restaurant is definitely worth coming again to explore the other dishes on its menu.

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly—no complaints at all about the dishes or the service.
The only issue was safety-related: the pot the dish came in was extremely hot, and I burned my hand from briefly touching it. I believe there was a warning on the electronic menu, but it’s easy to miss or forget. It would really help if staff could give a quick reminder when serving, and/or use a sleeve/trivet or let the pot cool slightly before bringing it out.
I hope the owner sees this and addresses it, since it could be especially dangerous for kids. I’m happy to remove or update this review once the issue is fixed.

We were craving noodles and stumbled upon this place to try. We ordered two beef noodles, grilled chicken and beef. We requested medium spice not knowing that mild spice was plenty hot. Glad to have water nearby as well as the jelly drink provided in the combo. The “golden” noodle had a nice flavor similar to a “chicken noodle soup.” We liked the grilled chicken and beef although it was more of a stir-fry. The textures are fun to experience and tasty too. Service was nice and efficient.

Unique hot pot restaurant in Santa Clara, located in a shopping plaza off of El Camino Real. The menu has a lot of traditional Chinese food items such as chicken feet, pig ears, duck wings, gizzards, and duck heads. Not for the first timer, but definitely a tasty place for connoisseurs of Chinese clay pot (note: not the same as hot pot). Staff was super efficient and attentive. Plenty of parking in the free parking lot.

Got the yellow braised pork trotter combo. Very well done, trotters absorbed the braise and was cooked until it fell off the bone. I wish there was a tad more impact with the sauce, but otherwise it had a nice sweet, umami flavour. With the side dishes and rice, this was a hearty meal!
The location is a bit cramped though. Service is friendly and the servers are quick to respond.
Highly recommend dropping by for a lunch or dinner!

Food: comes in hot hot clay pot. I got the bone in chicken set (mild spicy). Delicious would be an understatement!! I selected with the Woodear tofu appetizer (yummy!), seaweed soup. They also gifted with brown sugar binfen topped with raisin (perfect sweetness).
Service: super friendly and quick! Attentive and informative.
Atmosphere: clean and modern. Great for daily eats. Homey cozy casual vibe

The rice casserole here tastes great! My favorite is their boneless chicken and pork knuckle rice casserole. My friends and I eat here once a week! Highly recommend their boneless braised chicken, you can adjust the spiciness. As a person who loves spicy food, it’s really hard to resist the spicy braised chicken rice casserole here! Must try it!

– Yellow Braised Beef Brisket: omg this was so good! So tender and juicy. I could’ve ate the whole pot!!! Went so good with rice.
– Yellow Braised Pork Trotter: This was cooked perfectly! Soft to eat and love the gelatinous texture skin.
– Yellow Braised Lamb Chops: Soft and tender! Loved the crunchy bones!!
