It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. We went for my mother in laws birthday. The man at the counter spoke way too fast, was super pushy with the add-ons, we were charged for a salad bar I know I said NO to. My mother inlaw is 86 and when we asked about the senior discount we were told that it was already rung up and they would give us a credit for next time. Lol. We spent 135.00 and it was far from Sizzler quality. My shrimp was grease soaked, my medium rare was rare. My mother inlaws loster was cold and she had difficulty cutting her steak it was so tough. The only good things were baked potatoes and the salad bar and even the Bleu cheese dressing had no flavor what so ever.
Drive on by. This was so disappointing and we won’t be returning.

Wow I haven’t been to a Sizzler for over 10 years. Quite honestly didn’t know there were any more on the planet. If you’re looking for the boujee steakhouse experience drive on. If you want a good meal at a good price. This Sizzler will meet your needs. The restaurant is very clean and the staff work hard to be polite and took care of your needs. On three maybe four occasions somebody stopped at the table to ask if everything was okay and wanted to know if they could bring his anything. The salad bar had several choices including a taco, pasta and dessert station. I will definitely be stopping by when I’m in the Longview area.

I will not be going to Sizzlers again. I ordered 30 minutes before closing. I asked if it was too late to order to go. They said no, I could order. I ordered two of their best steaks and garlic mashed potatoes with one side salad. The price came out to $47.00!!! The steaks were very small unseasoned, the potatoes where instance mashed potatoes and I had no salad. The first time I went it was mediocre but I thought I would try again. Now I feel robbed and hungry 🙁

This was not worth the money they are charging. The salad buffet was disgusting. Most of the hot items were old and crusty. Our waitress didn’t come around often to fill our drinks. The tables and booths are a little on the top close for comfort for us. They charge almost $13 for the all you can eat salad bar but yet offer nothing you would really want. The Sizzler in Boise, ID is much better. The more money you pay the worsethings are getting.
