It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

I only ate an order of French fries but they were hot, golden, and crispy
Another member of our party enjoyed a steak and bottomless shrimp, one had a burger and another just had the salad bar. The strawberry lemonade was good also. The atmosphere was like any other Sizzler that I have been in… though I’ve not been to one in over 15 years.
The staff were very friendly and attentive with refilling drinks and bottomless shrimp.

I have not been to a Sizzler in years. So I stopped in this evening, and I am glad I did.
The food was great and it was nice to have access to a salad bar. I had the steak and lobster with a loaded baked potato.
Prices were reasonable. The employees were very friendly and waitstaff were very attentive. I was even given a military discount!
Highly recommended for great non-fussy meal.

I don’t mind paying good money for food,. but when it’s an unlimited buffet they only have three hot items and only a few salad things and the ice cream machine is frozen over, only little brownies, paying the full $15 for the buffet without more choices is ridiculous. The Sizzler in Albany has dozens of different choices of hot food desserts and other items,will not be eating here again.

The food is great and so are the employees. They were friendly and helpful. The manager was running around yelling at everyone. And everyone could hear. Why would she treat them like that. She clearly needs to provide positive comments. I wouldn’t work for her. No one has the right to talk to anyone like that. Maybe some management experience would be beneficial.

I haven’t been to Sizzler in a long time and I’m sad to know I have been missing out. The salad bar was pretty extensive, had ice cream, buffalo wings, spaghetti and meatballs, taco bar, and soups all included. I cant wait to go again, might have the steak and unlimited shrimp, but that salad bar sure was great. The average age here is about 73, but it is because they know something we don’t.

The food was subpar. It felt like they were barely staying open. Everything felt old and dry.
The spaghetti was hard and wilted, the salads were wilted. There was mold on a strawberry. There was so few toppings for the ice cream.
Everyone eating there other than us was 70+
I went to a sizzler last year I California that wasn’t even half this dilapidated.

After we ordered, we have been informed that will take 40 minutes for the order to be ready so we said ok, after one hour we complained that it took more than we have been told, they told us that they forgot to process the order and we have to wait 30 minutes more, this make it one hour and 30 minutes, off course we refused to wait longer and instead of giving us a full refund as we have to pay when we replace the order, they partially refunded us which was ridiculous as we have waited so long and the kids and us were hungry and we had to leave, they should at least give us a full refund. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone
