It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

I ordered the senior soup and salad bar. Salad bar was very fresh and fully stocked as was the soup bar. Employee had a thermometer and was checking the temperature of all the salads which shows they’re very serious about the freshness and healthiness of their foods.

Miss Bianca was amazing, food was delicious and fresh. Very clean and the price was extremely affordable. Have senior discount “over fifty” I was so impressed and my family was also. Kind friendly great food and affordable. Most definitely would recommend this sizzlers.

My husband and I loved the salad bar but our actual food was a disappointment. The mashed potatoes tasted instant and the meat was stringy fatty and bland. I was happy with the staff along with our waitress though. Very nice and helpful.

Many people consider Sizzlers a low budget Steak House. The cafeteria style atmosphere lends itself to this impression . I ate at the last Sizzlers in my area in Carmichael, two others in, Roseville and Auburn, have closed recently (Victims of Covid and California’s $20 minimum wage).
I would suggest that Sizzlers should be judged through the lens of a good value:
1. Flame broiled 14 oz. New York Strip Cooked.to your preference.
2. Baked potatoe with all the fix’ns for -$22 for both
3. Add one trip to salad bar- either the cold or hot side – $3.99
– My son chose the salad.
– I chose clam chowder, chicken wings, and meatballs
4. Free cheese toast!
5. Dessert included – of course!
*Do not forget about the decorate your “Cheese Toast Day” contest!

Never again, ordered a chicken burger and the chicken was raw. Luckily I didn’t get food poisoning. They did make me another burger. That was well done. For me never again

Pretty mediocre. Took my brother and nieces out of nostalgia when we saw it was open. Definitely wouldn’t do it again. Chicken was hard, ribs were gross, lobster looked ok not sure how the steak was. Salad bar needs more options. Waitress was nice.

We ordered two entrees with salad bars. The entrees were the sirloin tips. Both steaks were badly overcooked and were very rubbery and not fresh.
The food at the salad bar was spoiled too. Brown lettuce, congealed cheese and rancid clam chowder that must have been sitting in a kitchen reducing for hours.
I then threw up in the restaurant bathroom a few times. After I alerted the staff and asked for a manager, they simply dismissed what happened to me and argued that all of their food was made fresh.
I got food poisoning and the staff continued with their apathy and did nothing.
This is very unfortunate because we eat here at least once a month and we usually enjoy eating here. After the apathy we experienced I am doubtful we’ll come back to this location.

Ordered the Fried Shrimp and Sirloin Combo on Doordash. What arrived was hideous! First off, I paid almost $5 extra for an 8oz upgrade. This thin little piece of meat is barely 6oz at most! Secondly, the mushroom and onion add ons were not caramelized, and y’all didn’t even cut the mushrooms! Also now my fried shrimp is soggy because y’all placed it in a pool of juices. Like huh? Oh well, glad I got a full refund.

I have not been here for 15 years! But decided to try it again tomight! Wow, what a change. The salad bar offers spaghetti, tacos, corn dogs, soup, nachos, ice cream, jello, pasta salad, potato salad, and too much more to list here. All for $14.29. It is really and all you can eat buffet. I recommend you check it out

The Food: the food I got was a burger (a smoky bacon burger) and it was delicious. Fries were made in my favorite style.
Lemonade was really good, as I was thirsty.
The service: service is good, staff are nice and polite
The outside of the sizzler is kind of sketchy but overall it is in an acceptable spot.
I recommend this restaurant a lot.
