It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

Wasn’t sure this place still existed. Had me nostalgic from the original white men can’t jump about “We going to Sizzler”. Mariana was my server and she was attentive, efficient, friendly and an overall fantastic server. Food was cooked as ordered. I just over ordered with the Steak trio and salad bar can’t quite put the food away like I used to be able too. If im back in this area id definitely go back again! Hopefully Mariana would be my server again as well.

Grew up eating at Sizzler so it’s my go to steak place when it’s a regular occasion.
We went to the Turlock Sizzler since we were doing some local errands.
I ordered the Ribeye steak ($39.99) along with a salad bar ($9.99). My wife ordered just the Ayce salad bar.
Our waiter was Dom who had the best customer service l’ve seen compared to the Modesto Sizzler location. Dom always had a smile when he talked and was responsive to any requests.
If you’re lucky to have Dom as your waiter, it will make your dining experience way better.
Ribeye with A1 was delish. The salad bar was clean and kept up. Definitely worth the drive to this Turlock location.

We had a great experience at the Sizzler in Turlock overall. Our server, Dominick, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. His service alone really stood out and deserves recognition.
The food was good for the most part; however, I did find a hair in my tuna pasta salad, which was a bit disappointing. That said, aside from that issue, everything else went smoothly and the service helped make up for it.
I wanted to leave this review mainly to acknowledge Dominick’s excellent customer service and hopefully bring awareness to a small quality-control issue. We’d definitely consider coming back, especially with service like his.

The food was amazing and fresh. The bacon burger was AMAZING DELICIOUS. Mariana our server was very nice she made sure our drinks and cheese toast was fresh. Great service all the way around.

Wow! Outstanding service provided from the moment we walked in! Our server Mariana is 10/10! Checked on us frequently and was excellent and friendly. Kudos to the managers as all staff we encountered was EXCEPTIONAL!!! Well done team! Food was excellent, service was excellent and restaurant was very clean and well maintained.

Our family went to Sizzler for dinner recently, and we were lucky enough to have Marissa as our server. She was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcomed and taken care of. She was patient with our kids (who can be a handful), checked on us consistently without hovering, and made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted it. It’s rare to get service that feels both friendly and attentive, but she nailed it. We left full, happy, and honestly impressed. If you go to Sizzler, definitely ask for Marissa! We’ll be back because of her.

I had a great experience at Sizzler in Turlock, CA. The atmosphere was busy, but the service was excellent and never felt rushed. The food was fresh and tasted great. A special shout-out to our waitress Alondra—she was friendly, courteous, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the visit. Definitely a place I’d return to!
