It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

Good food except for the steak being burnt instead of well done. The waitress, waiter, and manager were all very nice. Didnt catch names, but they were on shift at closing time on 5-23.

Right now, I could really use a Sizzler nearby. For an affordable price, you can dine here by yourself or with a group of people, hang out and enjoy great comfort food, surroundings, and service. The salad bar is one of the best around. You can get fried chicken, fajitas, tacos, soft serve, spaghetti (on some nights), and soups. There are many choices — I usually go with the salad bar option. The Texas toast that comes to the table is amazing. According to the restaurant, there is a nationwide shortage of chicken wings, so check before you go, if that is going to be a dealbreaker.

My family’s been going here for several years (since we’ve lived in Tracy) and we’ve never had any issues with the food nor the service. Someone who stands out in particular is Angelica, who has been our server multiple times, including today, when we were in to celebrate my nephew’s 3rd birthday. She’s very sweet, friendly, attentive, accommodating, consistent, and comes back to check up on us often. She remembers us from previous visits and made my nephew feel extra special for his birthday! The food and service were all out great. The prices on the menu were nicely affordable. I’d recommend coming here for families, couples or even on your own. Didn’t have any issues with having to wait for my food or the quality of it during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Definitely a great place to dine no matter what time of day.
