It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

Food was great, establishment is very clean and well kept. Had the salad bar, which was well stocked, and delicious. Had a side of fried shrimp which was fantastic and a must along with a baked potato. The cheese toast of course is a cult classic and our waitress Dana was the best ever! She really brightens the room and made for an epic experience.

It had been a long time since we last ate at a Sizzler, so when we spotted a sign on the freeway, we didn’t hesitate. Sizzler holds a lot of special memories for us from back home, and this visit brought them all flooding back.
The service was excellent! Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure of being hosted by Jathleen and served by Maria—both were exceptional, and we were very impressed with how well we were treated. There was also a gentleman who greeted us as soon as we walked in and made sure we were taken care of right away.
The food tasted just as it did the last time we had it—delicious and nostalgic. The cheese bread is always such a treat! And the salad bar was impressive: plenty of choices, well-stocked, and well-maintained.
The entire team made us feel truly welcome. Thank you all for such a memorable experience!

Always enjoy coming here. Food is always on point and service is good. We like sitting in Maria’s or Lydia’s area. Cheese toast is a classic and the steaks are always good. Salad bar always fresh and seating is ample. It’s been nicely renovated and it’s always clean.

This was my first time dining at Sizzler, and I had a mixed but overall positive experience. I decided to try the steak and unlimited fried shrimp combo. The steak was definitely the highlight of the meal—it was perfectly cooked to my liking, tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. You could tell they put care into how it was prepared.
Unfortunately, the fried shrimp didn’t quite meet the same standard. It tasted overcooked, and there was a noticeable aftertaste that made me think the oil used might have been a bit old or overused. It wasn’t inedible, but definitely not as enjoyable as I had hoped, especially considering it was part of an “unlimited” offer.
The salad bar was great, though. It had a nice variety of fresh ingredients, and everything looked well-maintained and clean. The desserts were also a pleasant surprise—simple, but satisfying enough to wrap up the meal on a good note.
One thing that stood out was the ordering system. You place your order and pay at the counter first, then go find a table. It’s a bit of a different setup for a restaurant like this—more like what you’d find in a mall food court. It works efficiently.

The quality of the food was good the last couple of times my wife & I ate there. Our waiter Marcos check on us about every 10 minutes when we needed him. And their prices are still reasonable. So we recommend them and will go back when we want a good steak & salad bar.

Grace was lovely, she checked up on us constantly , our drinks were always full. The manager Lynnette walked around making sure we were taken care of. The busser Pedro kept the area clean at all times. Over all great experience. Loved the salad bar and the New York was cooked to perfection.

Came here to have lunch with my daughter, intake order service was friendly and positive”Lynette”. Our waitress name is Gabby she was very friendly, attentive and punctual in bringing our food to the table and my order to go too.
