It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

I was here on a business lunch meeting & the services were quick & adequate. The food was good. I ordered steak & shrimps. The steak was done the way I requested & the shrimps were decent enough. The vibe was good, and the view of the Coliseum was lovely. I gave it a 4 star because I had leftover, which I wanted to take to-go but was unable to obtain a to-go box. There was no waiter/waitress attending anyone on the regular. The woman at the cash register was busy, so I just trash my handful of shrimps 🙁

Great place of your looking for a laid back American grill. I ordered a Tri-Tip Steak along with the salad bar; the salad bar was great different option of lettuce as well as spinach a variety of options. Also had a warm part of the bar that has spaghetti and meatballs as well as a small taco and nacho bar! My steak was medium , it was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. They also proved you buttery cheese toast free when you arrive at the table. The salad bar was a great choice which i added to my order.

The salad bar was clean and fully stocked, even 30 min before closing. Our server was attentive, friendly and helpful. The dining area was clean with many tables open. The bathrooms were horrible though – stinky, wet and filthy – mirror removed from wall above the dirty sink, no place to hang a jacket or purse. Just as disgusting as a dirty gas station bathroom.

It wasn’t too busy and our waitress was very kind and she brought us clean plates for the salad bar and took our used ones. The variety of items on the salad bar were excellent choices and there was a taco bar too. I ordered the coconut shrimp and they are delicious dipped in their special sauce.

Although I wish they’d bring back at Inglewood location the little cornballs (not sure of proper name) at the salad bar, but everything, steak, shrimp, lobster, as usual were delicious. Service was great, atmosphere neat, bathroom clean, overlooks Kia Forum, and palms outside windows.
