My kids & I went here for the first time yesterday & we’re so glad we did. We had no idea they served food too which was a nice surprise. We had bacon cheeseburgers, lemon pepper wings, french fries and mozzarella sticks plus 3 kid ice cream cups. The cheeseburgers tasted so comforting and fresh. The lemon pepper wings were super crispy and delicious. The mozzarella sticks had an insane cheese pull. The fries are always a winner. We loved the ice cream flavors. The workers were so sweet and helpful. Definitely coming back here.

Feed the Fat Rabbit
The owner here is extremely hands-on and wants to make sure your experience is a good one. This goes a long way in food service, as he could very easily hire all kids and find one responsible one to run it, but he doesn’t. He’s in the trenches cooking with care. We had double cheeseburgers; they come with delicious diced onions and pickles. These remind me of burgers from the 1970’s prior to the fast food revolution. A throwback, if you will. The boneless wings were also a hit with my children (I may have stolen 1 or 2)
The ice cream selection is tremendous and the quality is on point there as well. I prefer to support local family owned businesses over megalithic corporations any day of the week. If you ever find yourself in Oceanside, don’t hesitate to give them a shot. You’ll be glad you did.

First time stopping by, even though I’d drive by Frozenside all the time lol. Last minute decision to go but I’m glad I did.
Can’t complain.
The food was fire, nothing too fancy but hits the spot. Definitely way more fresh tasting than a typical fast food spot which is always refreshing personally. Burgers were good, wings were amazing, and the fries were crispy.
Was 50/50 on getting any, but ended up grabbing ice cream with my girlfriend on the way out. The options are insane, you genuinely taste the flavor in each one.
Pretty cool spot to grab a quick bite + dessert, or just a quick sweet if you’re craving one.

We go here for ice cream. Staff are always friendly and polite. Ice cream is delicious and nice to have seating. Recently we went for ice cream and no issues with our food. However people after us ordered flying saucers and only wanted 2. The girl who was helping them took the wafers out of the package with her bare hands. The customers said nothing and bought the items. We were sitting eating our ice cream and shocked bc staff should be wearing gloves to touch food items. Staff are touching money, doors, register and could possibly touch their face, hair, etc. Please make sure your staff are wearing gloves to touch food. Thank you

So happy this place reopened! The owner Charlie, is always so friendly and is dedicated to serving delicious ice cream to the community! I always enjoy all the ice cream flavors I have tried. Staff is always friendly with quick and good service. I’m planning to soon to try the hot food… I like what is on the menu!

First time trying Sizzle and Scoop since they completed their renovations, and wow — what a great upgrade! When you walk in, you’re greeted by upbeat colors, cool seating, and all-new equipment that gives the place a fresh, modern vibe.
We ordered the regular cheeseburger and fries, and both hit the spot. The burger was cooked perfectly and had that old-school flavor — somewhere between All American and White Castle. The fries were hot, crispy, and just right.
After devouring the burgers, we finished off with their fresh homemade ice cream — and that’s truly what keeps me coming back. It’s rich, creamy, and full of flavor.
Prices are very reasonable (especially in today’s economy), and the owner always greets you with a smile, making you feel like family every time you stop in.
Highly recommend checking it out — great food, great people, and even better ice cream!

I’m so happy this place is finally open! I loved my cheeseburger (very reasonably priced) and my ice cream was amazing! The ice cream was a good portion, too. It was so nice and clean there and management was so friendly and happy for people to come and visit. Bonus: they don’t use seed oils! Woooo!
Management, if you’re reading this, that would be an awesome selling point to advertise to bring in even MORE people.

Went here Saturday with my husband and little one. We loved it! The young men that work there are very sweet and you can tell they take pride in their work. Very personable and kept the place clean inside and out! One of the guys was even cleaning up the disgusting cigarette buds outside! Fries taste better than McDonalds (never thought I’d say that) and the soft serve is better than carvel! Will go back to try the burger and hotdog! I’m sure it won’t disappoint!
