This place is really mid at best. Burger, fine. Fries, soggy. Calamari, very good flavor, though felt like it had been sitting at room temperature for a while before we got it. It was 1:30pm in the afternoon and not very busy, so I can’t blame circumstances on that.

Also went to visit the bathroom, which is in another closed-off portion of the restaurant, and I literally tripped over a chair in the dark trying to find the restroom. Maybe trying turning on a light? And maybe don’t stack chairs right in front of the darkened hallway leading to the restrooms?

And one more: some ladies at the table next to us kept playing music loudly on their phones. They seem to be having a great time, but at some point I would expect management to talk to them about making the space respectful for all patrons. But no. They kept jamming.

I wouldn’t come back. Again, food wasn’t terrible, but not good enough either to overlook the other issues.

Visiting the area, and made a reservation. We were seating right away, then it went down hill from there. The restaurant was empty only about 5 tables seated at this time. Our server just set our menus down and turned her back and walked away. The place was so slow. She didn’t bring us silverware, or ranch dressing, plates, refill of water. She would say sorry each time but never attempted to improve. I regret giving her a 20% tip. But I’m hoping the young man that helped us gets a portion of it. I would not go back. If service would of been par the rating would of been great, but she bright the place down.

I had lunch at Logan Tavern yesterday with a couple of friends. Katie was the bartender and let me tell you how fun she was. Her service and Recommendations were on point and she has such a great sense of humor and her personality is the just the right fit for a bartender. The Bloody Mary made in house (mix and infused pepper vodka) was one of the best I ever had. The baby kale salad with Salmon (medium) was perfection. I plan on stopping by again for sure.

Amazing service here. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly, giving us all the best recommendations and attentive to our needs. The food was amazing. I loved the steak and eggs, it wasn’t an aggressive portion but the right sized to be full and comfortable without the discomfort and regret afterwards that you’ve over eaten. The bloody Marys were awesome! They offer different kinds of bloody Marys and you can choose which topping you’d like. There is also a huge boot sized bloody Mary but i went for an easy individual size. The dessert options are so great. I love the Mango key lime pie which I think is the restaurant favorite. Would come back again and again!

We stumbled across Logan Tavern while trying to decide what to eat during our recent trip to DC. I have to say, I’m so happy we found this place. The service was outstanding and the staff were all incredibly friendly. They have a great selection of food for all, but I can’t recommend the Fish & Chips highly enough. The food was absolutely amazing and probably some of the best Fish & Chips I’ve had outside of the UK. If you’re in the area, you definitely owe it to yourself to pop in and enjoy this culinary delight.

Broken Promises and Disorganized Kitchen at Logan’s Tavern
My family and I booked reservations at Logan’s Tavern on Saturday, May 31st, to celebrate my husband’s achievements. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a special occasion for our family of seven turned into a frustrating and disappointing evening.

Upon arrival, we were seated directly next to the bustling server station, which was not ideal. Our server was new, which isn’t inherently a problem, as he was pleasant enough. However, the issues truly began with the kitchen. Our order included pasta and shrimp, spinach and artichoke dip, two cheeseburgers, a salad and appetizer, calamari, a second pasta dish, and a quesadilla.

The first dish to arrive, after a 45-minute wait, was my pasta – which, thankfully, was decent. This was followed by one cheeseburger (missing cheese), and the quesadilla. My husband’s appetizer appeared next, then another pasta dish. After waiting another 30 minutes with significant portions of our meal still missing, we called over the manager. He acknowledged “kitchen problems” but offered little in the way of immediate solutions.

Shockingly, my appetizer arrived after I had already finished my main course. The manager did eventually get cheese for my son’s burger and delivered the second cheeseburger. He promised to comp all the late food and provide two complimentary drinks. At this point, the Moscow Mule I had ordered with my initial drink order still hadn’t arrived.

To our dismay, when the check came, none of the late food had been comped. As we were leaving, the manager then promised to send my husband a $100 gift card that very night. Five days later, we are still waiting for that gift card.

The disorganization in the kitchen, coupled with unfulfilled promises from management, completely overshadowed our celebratory dinner. We left feeling unheard and frustrated by Logan’s Tavern’s failure to deliver on both their service and their commitments.

The food was great, I had the Summer Seafood Fettucini, and my wife had the signature burger. They were both great.
They seemed a little short-handed today as our server was waiting tables outside and inside, which just made for a little longer wait, and we had to have our bill corrected for a minor issue. Great food though.

The fried calamari was really good. Everything else we ordered was OK. We sat outside with our dog, the vibes were good but it’s a busy street and tables are right off the sidewalk. Good for people watching I guess.

We came here for dinner before walking to the Lincoln Theater. We we’re able to find meter parking across the street but there is also a parking garage for whole foods there. Fatimah was our server and the best part of our experience. She was kind, accommodating, and responsive which we don’t usually see nowadays in hospitality workers. It was a lovely evening so we sat outside and got to people watch. I ordered half rack of ribs with french fries, it came with a salad and was quite delicious. My hubby’s brisket was a little tough and would have been better with barbecue sauce. Overall a very nice experience!
