Also went to visit the bathroom, which is in another closed-off portion of the restaurant, and I literally tripped over a chair in the dark trying to find the restroom. Maybe trying turning on a light? And maybe don’t stack chairs right in front of the darkened hallway leading to the restrooms?
And one more: some ladies at the table next to us kept playing music loudly on their phones. They seem to be having a great time, but at some point I would expect management to talk to them about making the space respectful for all patrons. But no. They kept jamming.
I wouldn’t come back. Again, food wasn’t terrible, but not good enough either to overlook the other issues.

My family and I booked reservations at Logan’s Tavern on Saturday, May 31st, to celebrate my husband’s achievements. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a special occasion for our family of seven turned into a frustrating and disappointing evening.
Upon arrival, we were seated directly next to the bustling server station, which was not ideal. Our server was new, which isn’t inherently a problem, as he was pleasant enough. However, the issues truly began with the kitchen. Our order included pasta and shrimp, spinach and artichoke dip, two cheeseburgers, a salad and appetizer, calamari, a second pasta dish, and a quesadilla.
The first dish to arrive, after a 45-minute wait, was my pasta – which, thankfully, was decent. This was followed by one cheeseburger (missing cheese), and the quesadilla. My husband’s appetizer appeared next, then another pasta dish. After waiting another 30 minutes with significant portions of our meal still missing, we called over the manager. He acknowledged “kitchen problems” but offered little in the way of immediate solutions.
Shockingly, my appetizer arrived after I had already finished my main course. The manager did eventually get cheese for my son’s burger and delivered the second cheeseburger. He promised to comp all the late food and provide two complimentary drinks. At this point, the Moscow Mule I had ordered with my initial drink order still hadn’t arrived.
To our dismay, when the check came, none of the late food had been comped. As we were leaving, the manager then promised to send my husband a $100 gift card that very night. Five days later, we are still waiting for that gift card.
The disorganization in the kitchen, coupled with unfulfilled promises from management, completely overshadowed our celebratory dinner. We left feeling unheard and frustrated by Logan’s Tavern’s failure to deliver on both their service and their commitments.
They seemed a little short-handed today as our server was waiting tables outside and inside, which just made for a little longer wait, and we had to have our bill corrected for a minor issue. Great food though.
