I had an amazing experience at 602 Tacos in Waxahachie! The tacos were absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, fresh, and packed with flavor. Each bite was better than the last. The menu has a great variety, and everything I tried was top-notch.
What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made the whole dining experience enjoyable and easy. It’s clear they care about their customers and their food.
I’ll definitely be coming back soon to 602 Tacos is a must-visit for anyone in the area who loves authentic, tasty tacos with excellent service!

We had a great first visit to 602 Tacos! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was cute and clean with a great view of the Ellis County courthouse. We tried the Sedona (al pastor) and the Tombstone (barbacoa) as well as the Phoenix (quesabirria). All of them were absolutely delicious, and so were the two salsas that came with the order. We also tried the watermelon agua fresca, which was amazing as well. We are looking forwards to returning soon, and would recommend 602 to anyone looking for good street tacos in Hachie!

The owner was amazing and went over the menu with us. We got there for breakfast and had one of each. The barbacoa was ready so we ordered those as well. The food was fresh and delicious with lots of flavor. We had the cucumber lime and watermelon aqua, amazing! Simple menu with lots of flavor!! Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu.

I really enjoyed our first visit here. We ordered 6 taquitos, received sauce without any issues, and everything was great. The food was flavorful, and we left happy and satisfied.
Unfortunately, our second visit was a completely different experience. We dined in, and my husband was charged for sauce. We weren’t given any sauce with our meal, and when he asked for some, we were charged for it. That was disappointing, especially since it wasn’t handled that way the first time.
We also asked about a refill on the aguas frescas. The man who seemed to be the owner or manager told us that since we didn’t purchase a new cup, the refill would be $3 instead of $5. However, we were charged the full amount anyway. (First visit we were only charge $3 maybe it change but they should have told us ) On top of that, the Mexican Coke was over $4 and it’s small not the big one
The tacos themselves were not as full as they were during our first visit, and for 6 tacos, we were only given 2 lime wedges which honestly felt ridiculous.
The place is very clean, and we truly wanted to continue supporting it, but the inconsistency in pricing and portions makes it feel overpriced. Sadly, this visit did not match the great experience we had the first time.

I have been wanting to try this place for the past year, before they opened the location here in Waxahachie. The customer service was good, I didn’t catch the guys name but he had blue eyes. He greeted us and went over the menu. I ordered half beef and half chicken , pastor and birria tacos. Got home, they gave me ALL beef. There was one little piece of chicken in one of the tacos so I tried it and honestly wish I would have gotten them. Because it tasted good. Beef lacked flavor but was tender. The green sauce was halfway full but didn’t have much flavor. My birria tacos barely even had meat on it, and the sauce tasted like cinnamon.

Best Birria Tacos I have every had. I really enjoy this place. Everyone is very friendly, and the food is stellar. Second time here. So far we’ve tried breakfast and lunch. Breakfast Tacos Excellent. Barbacoa Fantastic. Beef Excellent. Birria Exceptional. Also, Cucumber, Watermelon and Horchata Aqua Frescas are ALL good. We will be back so many times.

Brand new place, i first tried their delicious tacos at a food truck at Waxahachie Soul Fest. They said they are opening a restaurant in a week. So decoded to pay a visit today. Parking is limited and the place is small, but it’s indoor and air-conditioned. The tacos are sold 6 per order for $15 (only the biria tacos come in 4). About 2.50 a taco, double corn tortilla. Seems reasonable. My favorite are the grilled beef Prescott tacos. Very delicious! The salsas are so good and have a nice kick. The only thing i was a bid disappointed by was they do not have corn chips. Would love to see that in the future.
