Great service, they let you sample the beverages which is great. Really authentic Salvadorean food most of it was delicious the only reason why I don’t give five stars is because the “cheese” felt like rubber and had no flavor at all. It was supposed to be queso fresco but it was not fresh at all. Other than that I loved it and will absolutely go back again

I love this place
The pupusas especially! there not greasy like in other restaurants.
The tamal de gallina is very tasty and has a good portion of chicken.
The yucca con chicharron is always a hit.
The drink horchata and ensalada are a must.
I highly recommend Sivar Treats for your salvadorean and non salvadorean cravings.
They have vegan options

The cheesiest pupusas ever! They’re hearty and definitely not skimpy. I always order the revueltas. So good every time. The spicy sauce is delicious, the curtido is fresh and flavorful, and don’t forget to try their agua de maracuyá. It’s the perfect complement.
Super friendly staff! There can be a bit of a wait, but it’s totally worth it knowing everything is made fresh.

As a proud Salvadoran, I always walk into a Salvadoran restaurant with high expectations—especially when it comes to authenticity, flavor, and the feeling of home. Unfortunately, this restaurant did not live up to what I know Salvadoran food can and should be.
The pupusas were average at best, lacking the bold flavor and balance you expect from a place that represents our cuisine. The curtido was bland and under-seasoned, and the salsa did not have the depth or freshness that usually ties everything together. Other dishes felt rushed and generic, missing the care and tradition that define true Salvadoran cooking.
Service was decent, but it couldn’t make up for the overall experience. When you grow up with real Salvadoran food—made with patience, pride, and love—you can immediately tell when something is missing.
I say this not to tear the restaurant down, but because Salvadoran cuisine deserves better representation. There is so much richness and soul in our food, and this place, unfortunately, falls short of showcasing the best of what El Salvador has to offer.

Great all around, chill spot to just have a meal of 1 to a how crowd. Everything is made to order so it’ll take a min for the food to come out, yet the service is kind and patient. For a mom and pop shop, the prices are reasonable and they have a nice variety that they even have desserts.

I was disappointed with my recent visit. The food had an overwhelming artificial flavor, which made it hard to enjoy. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, our waitress never refilled my coffee, and my daughter asked for water that was never brought to our table. For the price we paid, I expected much better quality and service. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations.

Extraordinary Central American Food! Where do I start? I’m a bit of a foodie and a huge fan of Mexican and Asian food. Now, I’m a huge fan of Salvadoran/Central American food. I’ll start by saying that this restaurant is very unassuming from the exterior, aside from a cool mural on its side wall. Once you open the door, you’re immediately greeted by a wonderful, familiar aroma and a colorful visual of aguas behind the counter. You order from the counter, the food selection is what you’d expect, but with some creative twists. The real test, however, is once your food is bright to the table. Amazing presentation hints at something delicious…and it does not disappoint! I ordered a carne asada plate, and it came with a couple pieces of chorizo, delicious beans, avocado, salad, and delicious hand made “tortillas.” I ordered popusas for my daughters, and aguas for us all. The curtido was delicious—the flavor needs to be experienced to be believed—simply amazing! The service was fantastic, the atmosphere cozy, and it was just a fantastic experience. I’ve added this place to my favorites.

Just stopped to highly recommend this place, it was so good, food and Rodrigo’s service the first time we stopped, and am so sorry I didn’t get the other 2 friends who served us the second time. We absolutely loved the food, it was so good that we had to drive back almost 2 hours to make it for a second round of there absolutely good food. We loved the desserts, specially the budin de pan. We enjoyed a tamal pisque, típico breakfast and the típico con pupusa. Drinks were spectacular, we had mango, passion fruit and there particular salad drink. And I can’t leave without mentioning the good tortillas and sour cream. Even the costumer next to me was extremely friendly, loved all my experience at this spot at Los Angeles California.
