This restaurant is spacious & welcoming – as visitors to Guernsey we were not sure where to go but read good reviews for Sitar.
Although we had not booked we were greeted with a warm welcome & seated very quickly. The food selection was very good with lots of choice on flavour & spice. We ordered starters, mains, poppadoms & naan and were not disappointed with any of our choices, amazing ingredients & flavours in the gorgeous cuisine.
Our waiters were also friendly & nothing was too much trouble.
We will most certainly return next time we are in Guernsey.

I always order from sitar they are definitely the best Indian restaurant in Guernsey.
The food always tastes incredible and they add more spice if needed 🙂
All fresh ingredients and so tasty.
I had a takeaway last night and it was delivered on time , food was piping hot 🙂
Thank you to all the staff …

We called and informed about the Prawns curry that it was sweet and the guy who spoke to us was very rude and said this is how we cook and this is what it is. And I called him back to ask his name and rudely replied my name is Abu Sayed. Spend £150 and get harassed by the restaurant

Absolutely terrible food. All the dishes were really average but prawns korma in particular was utterly bad. Too sweet for a curry, even though we had asked for it to be spicy but it seems nobody cares about it. To top it up when we gave feedback, the staff sounded adamant and rude. Never ordering again.

Great food, great service. Restaurant decor lacks something… Feels a bit like a transport cafe…

My Punjabi Chicken was one of the best curries I’ve tasted (and I’ve had quite a few). Midweek and early evening so very quiet, but service was spot on. Very good food.

The best on the island in my opinion. We always used to come here for decent portions and prices. Always great service. Sadly we’ve left the island as we miss the Sitar guys!

Got a takeaway from what used to be my favourite Indian restaurant and was very disappointed.
The sheek kebab was cold. Luckily I was able
To warm it up in my microwave. The rice was OK but the CTM was poor. Basically pieces of chicken in what tasted like Campbells tomato soup. The roti was the thickness of a rubber mat and tasted like it too.
I would certainly not waste my money here.

Great food and service. Chefs specials are highly recommended, full of flavour and the right level of spice. Amazing!
