Long time fan of 15th St Sitar Buffet, I was excited to try Sitar Express! First time was as take out, Chicken Tikka Masala Wrap! Delicious and so big, I saved a portion for next day! Next time, 4 of us ate inside and shared dishes. They were all very tasty. Bowl, Salad, Pizza, Wrap and Do not miss ordering the Fries!

The food tastes good, but it’s definitely not worth the price. It’s extremely expensive for what you get. I ordered the Chicken Schezwan Pizza and the Chicken Tikka Roll—both had decent flavor—but paying $14 for a pizza and $13 for a wrap, with no sides and small portions, just doesn’t add up.

My family was so excited when this place opened. We frequent the other location that is owned by the same family and when they mentioned bringing a new twist closer to us we were THRILLED. The pizza is a staple in my lunch rotation now let alone the amazing wraps. Sitar is the best in Tuscaloosa County and you can’t go wrong with the express location or the original!

I had been anticipating this restaurant’s opening, since it was first talked about! Went in on their second or third day open and had lunch.
Most of the time I have Indian food, it is from a buffet and therefore I’m not familiar with the names of all the dishes. If I remember, I had a Sitar Bowl with paneer curry. It was very good, although next time I will ask for it to be more spicy because that is my personal preference. The food was fresh, as I had to wait a few minutes for it to be made. Nothing was dried out as if it had been sitting. Everything was steaming hot. If I have to mention an area for improvement; it would be the drink cups. Some larger and non-disposable cups for dine-in would improve the experience a little.
As expected, the staff in Sitar Express were friendly and welcoming.

Tried the new location last night and got a wrap with chicken and butter sauce. Also got a mango lassi. Everything was delicious and the lassi refreshing! My daughter wanted a cheese pizza and it was yummy too. We will definitely be back!

I am a frequent diner at Sitar Indian on 15th Street (usually lunch buffet), and today I decided to try the newly-opened Sitar Indian Express. This proved to be the best decision I have made this week. My meal (Lamb Butter Masala bowl with garlic naan, yogurt, and a small salad) was absolutely delightful and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff treated me like a welcomed guest from the moment I walked in the door. I will certainly be back, and cannot recommend Sitar Indian Express highly enough.

I saw dead bugs on the seats and the food was kinda bland needs a bit more seasoning the workers were decent if you are Indian or something I recommend going to the curry kitchen plus Arjun is really nice at the curry kitchen ❤️
