My wife and I stopped here because it was close to where we were and had solid ratings. The location has a cool vibe, it’s a quaint, 200-year-old historic house tucked into the small strip mall where the Roots Market is. There are a couple of seats downstairs and a bit more seating upstairs.
My wife ordered a plain bagel, toasted, with lox cream cheese. It was toasted well and the flavor of the spread was good, though we both agreed we wish it had been actual lox with regular cream cheese rather than just a flavored spread.
I ordered the pancakes with a side of bacon. Let me start with the bacon: I thoroughly enjoyed it. People always ask, “How can someone mess up bacon?” Trust me, I’ve had messed up bacon before! But this was cooked perfectly.
The pancakes, on the other hand, were a letdown. Given the homemade, historic cafe vibe, I was expecting a customized, from-scratch mix. Instead, they were incredibly generic—they actually tasted exactly like McDonald’s pancakes. I was hungry, so I ate them, but they weren’t what I expected. Since they were listed towards the top of the chalkboard menu, I had high hopes based on menu placement! LOL.
I probably should have gone with a breakfast sandwich instead. Overall, it’s a cute spot, but I definitely wouldn’t go back for the pancakes.

This place is so cute and unique in Olney and DMV. I would really to recommend everyone come and visit if you have a chance. The location is very convenient. Not only it is a nice place for gourmet sandwiches and salads but the highlight is their ambient make you feel like homey where you can enjoy your meal among a backyard with outdoor tables. If you want more privacy, they also offer dinning table inside too. (1st and 2st floor in a house that looks like cottage or farmhouse style – not sure) Anyway, inside restaurant is quite tiny especially when you have to stay in line for ordering and waiting. I prefer to order ahead, grab a food and find some space outside to enjoy my break. Their menu might not be a lot of choices or fancy but I think they have enough good selections for you to try and get cozy experience in the same time.

I found this place in a mall search while in the area on business. What a find! Just a good homey feel with pleasant aromas as I entered. I was immediately greeted by smiles and a warm welcome when I walked thru the door. The menu was full of tempting choices. I ordered The Smasher which was a bit more than a classic turkey and bacon sandwich. It was amped up with some smashed (duhhh) bbq chips and ranch dressing. Simply delicious. I also got the white chili which was chock full of veggies and chicken. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with tortilla chips, cheese and sour cream. Was such a nice day I ate on the patio outside. Diverse array of customers from all backgrounds. Warm smiles abound. Process were very reasonable and portions filled my belly!

The food was pretty good. I thought the sandwich could have had more flavor though. The bread pudding was pretty delicious and better when its warm.

Delightful sandwich spot inside a charming cottage, right before you enter the town of Olney.
They feature a variety of sandwiches and bonus is they offer half sandwiches so you can sample more than one in sitting.
I had the Great Albert Rueben (excellent on marble rye, recommend getting it toasted), the Paige & J Italian (some extra mayo and hot pepper relish made this epic), and the solid Jacked Up Roast Beef (not as strong as the others but the horseradish mayo was a great touch). Service was excellent and there is great patio seating outside as well as on the porch or upstairs.
I’ll definitely be back.

We were heading to another spot for lunch when we passed this place by. It was crowded, so we knew it had to be good, so we stopped in to try! They were busy and it is recommended to know what you are ordering before hand. There was no kids menu, but my son enjoyed the bagels that are served all day long! Everything was great. There are several tables outside to sit and enjoy your meal. Once you order, the staff will bring out your food once ready. Only complaint was one of the soups came out luke warm, but it was still delicious. Everything we ordered tasted great! Would stop here again!

I absolutely love Sisters Sandwiches! It’s my go-to spot whenever I’m craving a delicious sandwich. The charming, boutique-style atmosphere makes it such a cozy place to grab a bite. Their Ruth Tuna is hands down my favorite—so flavorful! They offer a variety of sandwiches and other tasty delicacies, served up perfectly. Trust me, you won’t regret stopping by!

Cutest, charming, unpretentious, and yummy, this is THE best place to get a breakfast bagel sandwich or an awesome handcrafted sandwich for lunch. The staff is friendly and down to earth. The outdoor seating is plentiful and every bit as charming as the upstairs room in this house-remodeled little shop. I’ve been coming here for years and loving it, but almost didn’t leave a review for fear that this beloved place might become too popular and crowded!

Worth the wait! I took it upon myself to hold off on going here until my last day of my summer job in Olney, because I knew I’d be hooked if I didn’t. I live around an hour away. I stood corrected. The atmosphere, menu, quality of food and everything about this place is outstanding. It would truly be dangerous for me to live nearby. I selected the Italian sandwich, which is not my normal pick, but this sandwich solidified that I truly love Italian sandwiches. Such fresh ingredients, perfect portions and wonderful flavor. Love love love this place and till honestly make the drive for a sandwich in the future! Try it!!
