If you are looking for an older place to eat this is your restaurant. It reminded me when I was little. The food was good. For our first time we are happy we found this place. Just make sure you seat in the area where there is no smoke. The only thing they should do is put some air cleaner funs because of the smoke.

So as far as Snyder goes this gets 5 stars. The hamburgers alone make for it. I mean its like a homemade burger, not something picked from the freezer and put on a grill. The place is kinda basic, but yeah still good small town cooking. Small family run operation. Its unique and good for what it is. One of my favorites when passing through Snyder for sure.

Ladies here saved my life with their awesome home cooking of turkey dressing and roast beef along with mashed potatoes and corn! and peach pie for dessert. I’m a driver and had to do my 34 hr reset in this town, and there wasn’t a lot of options except pilot and this place. other restaurants either don’t have truck parking or no good reviews.

I didn’t hate this place. Ate here with about 20 pilot cars and truck drivers doing a wind project in Snyder. Came here on and off for a few weeks. Food was decent. Never used the restroom while dining. But we came thru again, I was just there to run in and use the restroom while my driver was fixing an air leak. There’s a sign posted restroom for customers only. I went in explained my situation, asked politely if I could please use it and was refused the restroom. I had to buy something. As I stated I was running in and running out didn’t have money on me or time to buy something. I could see if I tried sneaking by but I asked permission. I just think it’s rude. Won’t be returning here.

WILL NOT EAT HERE AGAIN. Sat at our table for 20 minutes before we ever even got menus and our drink order taken. Finally got to order taken. Then sat another 45 minutes before we got our food. I asked how much longer because we seen multiple people that came after us get their food. Oh hes plating it…. get our food and cold. He wasnt plating it. Its been sitting there and they just forgot we were just sitting there. Absolutely worse place ive ever eaten at. Food probably wouldve been great if it was hot. So disappointing.

Its been awhile since I have been here but I did have a meal here back then. I enjoyed the food but this another place that I have so many memories of even before my teenage years. This is where me and my Dad would eat when I was young. After I grew up we would come here and either drink coffee or something cool. Me and my Dad would bring my kids to this place and it used to feel like home and would normally run into a friend and would bet even now if I went there I would know someone from my past. Probably visit and find how each are doing and visiting after its been awhile since you’ve seen each other in a short time you can see if their happy.

An out of the way little diner. It’s an old truck stop but just the restaurant part is open now. The place if great, the coffee is the best in Snyder. The meals are perfect Americana Diner style food, portions are enormous and the service is excellent. I didn’t realize until my third visit that the waitress is actually the owner. It’s a bit difficult to find, it’s just an older building in the corner.

I wish I had a better experience, but this was my first and only impression of this horrible place.
We had a large group arrive after a funeral. Previous arrangements were made to essentially rent the restaurant for the large group. Everyone was supposed to get the same meal and drink, and the restaurant at the time seemed more than happy to this as previous generations of family had been in that establishment for years. This is where it gets a little more interesting.
Upon arrival, there were 3 staff members. The cook and two waitresses. One of which had a NASTY attitude. The other two did their best, but this rude woman was also the cashier (this will be important shortly) and was the first person we interacted with. Mind you, everyone is a little sad from the funeral they just attended. My own personal table (2 adults and 2 children) received 2 plates of food. Yet we were charged for 4, and without gratituity, it was $80. It was a Chicken Fried plate with unseasoned green beans, mashed potatoes that made my children and husband sick [I didnt eat the potatoes and I was the only one okay], and some bread that could’ve been used for hockey pucks. I’ve had better hospital food. I love to support small businesses, and I can handle the food, but the horrible attitude combined with everything else completely ruined the experience for us. This woman overcharged every single party member like that, refused to provide receipt breakdowns and there were about 50 of us total that she did this with; she was rude towards everyone, and made sure to mention that the only reason they opened up is because they knew the deceased relative.
After listening to her talk like that, and disrespecting the entire family, we won’t be back. For $80 we could’ve gone to a steakhouse. Instead we paid for the kids to throw up and my husband was locked in the bathroom for a while.
EDIT: It shows a response from the ‘owner’, however I’m unable to respond to that direct comment so I will clarify further here.
It was mentioned that we were charged for 4 plates because we ordered 4 plates. That’s not the case. We received two plates, as there were two adults and two children. All the plates and all of the drinks were the same. No changes were made to any dish. When the waitress wrote out the ticket, she was insistent that we paid for 4 plates, because there were four people total, although we only received 2 plates. After some back and forth with my husband, and a few others chiming in, that’s when the decision was made to make the plates to go. The ticket for 4 plates had already been written up, and debated, and there were several people to witness and hear my husband bring it up. The waitress in question is who rung up everyone in that party, and we were not the only unhappy ones with the ticket prices and poor service from the main waitress.
Furthermore, as previously stated in my original comment, there was more than one waitress. The other two staff members were friendly.
