I’ve had dinner twice from here,,, the jerk chicken, rice with peas, sweet plantains, and steamed cabbage and a Arizona Iced Tea. I have zero complaints. Everything was seasoned well and they give you plenty. Everything I mentioned was less than $20 dollars and I paid with my debit card, not sure if there’s a price difference with cash. Either way, where are you going to eat dinner for less than $20 dollars and it’s all cooked from scratch, can’t even go get fast food in the equal amount of food they give for that price.
The restaurant is very clean, you can smell the food when you go in and there’s a variety of food to choose from. Get there early cause if you want oxtail it goes quick, but there’s plenty of food to choose from. You will not be disappointed I can assure you that. I highly recommend checking this place out, bring your family and bring your appetite or you will have lunch for the next day. The staff is pleasant, it’s clean and nice to get a home cooked meal not some processed garbage from the chain restaurants around here. By the way I ordered a “Large” so that’s the size you see in the picture I posted, but they have medium and small so order accordingly.

I COMPLETELY agree with the other reviewer. They have FELL ALL THE WAY OFF!!! What a disappointment. I’m guessing they lost their main chef because there’s no way the flavor of food is supposed to drop off like that. I, too, experienced an upset tummy after eating the food one time. I’m steering clear of this place.✌

WOW tasty food. The service sigh. They seem like you doing them the favor. No get up and go no hustle. Food runs out hours before closing. No one wants to waste food I get it. BUT people work and would love to get a nice meal. Food done 5pm ? WOW

First time at this location by recomendation, and I can say that the entire experience was perfect.
I tried the samlon with Cabbage and plantains, it was AMAZING.
It had a sweat taste not to much not to little and perfectly seasoned also was not dry.
Nothing was dry.
They young man taking my order was very kind with over all service and verry well manered, he gave me a sample of the curry chicken to make sure it wasnt so spicy that was also amazing.
The price was verry reasonable good size portions. I will definitely try this place again.

First time I had their food the Oxtail was excellent. Second time you could tell they struggled to keep up the good consistency with it. Third time I was extremely dissatisfied which happened to be my last. My wife picked up some large Oxtail dinners and to our surprise the bill was astronomical. $60 plus for two large oxtail plates and a large Stew chicken. Well let’s just say they put plenty of bones with little to no meat in both plates of oxtail. Not enough in two plates for an actual large plate. I’ve eaten at plenty of Jamaican spots so I know what is a decent portion, then the meat that was there wasn’t trimmed properly where there was so much fat on it still I felt like they didn’t trim it at all. Then there was a river of grease at the bottom of my rice that flowed back and forth like a water current. Very poor oil portions and fat trimming. We both felt sick after trying to eat around all the bones, oil and fat. Rice wasn’t that good either but passable at best. The meat and gravy I did eat had good flavor but in the end we felt like we waisted our money just to feel sick afterwards. I wish I had taken the photo of the food b4 I cleared the plate. I’m just done wit dem.

Sister’s has completely fell off! I visited on 6/13/2025 and purchased Jerk Pork to go. I arrived home and the pork wasn’t the pork they would usually sell! It was fatty, it was pork but something wasn’t right with this pork! We consumed more before throwing the entire meal out! About 24 hours later my husband and I fell sick! I mean stomach sickness, diarrhea, and headaches. We were baffled and then remembered the nasty JERK PORK that could have been contaminated or uncooked! Please be careful because this used to be our favorite spot for sometime, but idk what’s going on with the food anymore! I miss when Mario cooked the food it was fresher!

The first time I purchased oxtails from this establishment was back in June and they were absolutely delicious. The second time I purchased oxtails a month later in July they were OK. The third time being today October 24, 2024 the oxtails did not pass the test. They were very tough and did not fall off the bone at all. The rest of the meal was OK, but I was extremely disappointed. So now I’m forced to look for another place.

If you’re going to charge $11 for a soup, it should have food and meat in it. I purchased a large soup, and all it had in it was two dumplings and hardly any meat. The little meat that was in it were scraps. If I lived closer I would have returned it to the restaurant.

The owner of the store was very rude! Because of my dietary needs, I asked her to separate the food, and asked for smaller portions, although I was willing to pay for it . She yelled at me and practically threw me out. I only go there for the jerk, chicken, but everything else, especially the rice always seem to taste unfresh.

Food wasn’t the best. Barbi fry chicken tasted a bit old and was dry. The oxtail was decent, but the rice was soft. Needs to upgrade quality.
