On our drive from Acadia to Blackwater Falls, WV, we made a special detour to Bath to bring lunch to a dear friend — someone we met years ago while walking the Camino de Santiago, who recently had heart surgery. Naturally, we needed food that would nourish the body and the soul, and Sisters Gourmet Deli delivered exactly that.
We walked out with a dream team of goodies — a selection of sandwiches, clam chowder, chicken & corn chowder, and (because I am only human) a massive slice of their rainbow cake that practically leapt into my arms. When dessert calls your name that loudly, you answer.
Everything was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. Our friend was happy, we shared a cozy little visit, and our hearts — and stomachs — felt full.
Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but that just means everyone else knows how good it is. The staff were friendly, helpful, and clearly putting love into every order.
Highly recommend — especially if you need food worthy of a reunion with a Camino friend. ✨

Sorry sister’s, but never again! I haven’t been in quite awhile because last time they made my sandwich all wrong! I didn’t complain because I chalked it up to them being busy! I work in food service industry, so I
get it! But just had my partner pick up some sandwiches and man shredded chicken on it! Wet and gross!! Tempeh on my partner’s wrap was so thick and not edible!! And not to mention some random onion skin on my sandwich!! Unfortunately never going back after wasting almost 60 dollars!

Awesome little sandwich shop. The food is so delicious. The place is neat, clean, and friendly. Their sandwiches are big, mouth watering, and so tasty. My son loves their banana foster cake, my youngest loves their cookies. My hubby loves the many vegan options they have. I am happy they have gluten free options as well. Something for everyone.

The sandwich was beautiful. Crisp foccacia style bread was flavorful. The person taking my order was super helpful, patient, and kind to me as a first-time guest. They answered my questions, including the tempeh substitution for meat in a sandwich. The homemade ice cream sandwich is a perfect dessert to take out to enjoy in the nearby park. A must stop when visiting the area!! Fantastic decor, warm, inviting, and comfortable.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Holy cow! I have had almost every sandwich in the menu and have NEVER been disappointed. This is my favorite lunch spot in the area hands down. Their sandwiches are all so fresh and so filling. I take my employees and family in town here for lunch very often. The vibe of the place is very welcoming and the staff are all super friendly and happy to be there. They have lots of cute little gifts too, my mom and I got matching keychains when she was in town. Love this place so much and so happy to have found it!!!

My work had an event catered by Sisters. It came with some beautiful platters of sandwiches, chips, good variety of drinks and cookies. The food was fresh and delicious. The delivery for my catering order was right on time and everyone loved it!

Hands down the best sandwiches in Maine!! Everything they do is amazing but the Macintuscan is literal perfection✨ They also have the cutest little retail section if you need a gift for someone, or if you just need a little retail therapy yourself!✌️

I recently had the pleasure of ordering catering from Sisters Gourmet Deli for a birthday party, and I must say that they did an excellent job! The sandwiches they provided were delicious, and the rainbow cake they made was perfect.
Personally, I absolutely loved the Caprese chicken sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich in a spinach wrap. They were both very tasty and were eaten quickly!
Overall, I would highly recommend Sisters Gourmet Deli for catering needs-or even the quick grab & go. They have a great variety of sandwich options and their rainbow cake was a real showstopper. I was very impressed with their service and food quality, and would definitely use them again for future events. Thank you, Sisters Gourmet Deli, for making our party a success!

A great place to go get a sandwich! The sandwiches here are amazing. Well made, and the bread used is yummy! They are also super quick to get things made. There’s an area to get a bunch of already made sandwiches which include their specials. They also have a fun little gift store table which always has something that makes me laugh.

How this place has anything less than 5 stars is a mystery to me. The best sandwich I’ve ever had and as a gluten free eater that’s saying a lot. An establishment that cares this much for what is likely a small segment of their customer base goes to show how good their entire menu is. Would consider moving to Maine just to be close to this place.
