The vibe of this place is unique. Very clean and modern retro. The service was good. You can sometimes sit at a larger table table with a small group of people. Beverages are overpriced as with anywhere else. The food was really good
The over easy eggs were cooked perfectly.

Walked in & warmly greeted, we were sat for 4 guests right away. Server came over after a maybe a minute or two and greeted us & welcomed us as first time diners. She took the drink order & brought them out as each was ready. Upon delivery of the final beverage she took the entree orders for each 4 of us. Even made accomodations for my mother whom is deaf in one ear by positioning herself for any questions directly to her on her good ear side… The entrees came our quicker than I expected for the restaurants foot traffic but within the realm of what’s acceptable/standard. They were hot and fresh & good but improvements could be made. The sweet and spicy chicken and waffles could use the most. The jalapenos flavor was lacking and inconsistent throughout the waffle. The spicy part (hot honey) was also severely lacking to the point of almost completely absent. The chicken itself was FABULOUS and not once change to be made. The food was good don’t get me wrong but I would have liked my taste buds to go on a little more of a dramatic rollercoaster. Over all I’d give it a 7 out of ten. Those few tweeks would make very next level… My family agrees with the score for all 4 dishes.are the same.

If breakfast had a fan club, Sisters Cafe on Front St in Traverse City would be headlining the tour. Walked in and the place looked amazing, clean, cozy, and the kind of spot that immediately tells you, yeah, this is gonna be good.

I ordered the Louisiana Hash and listen closely, they put the best parts of Louisiana on the hash. Then they kicked me in the face with that homemade jam. Hi-yaaaa!! Absolute genius. Every bite was rich, comforting, and the kind of food that makes you pause mid chew and nod like you just made a great life decision. Straight up superb.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, not fake friendly, real deal good vibes. The staff were terrific, attentive, upbeat, and clearly proud of what they are serving. That always hits different.

Sisters Cafe knocked it out of the park. Amazing food, great people, killer atmosphere. I will 100 percent be back, and I am not even pretending this is optional.

Nice place. A little pricey, but welcome to Traverse City. The food was good, but didn’t blow me away for what I spent. Very nice staff. As a big guy, I appreciated the large portions.

One of the best new breakfast places in TC. Super comfy, great service, and a refreshingly fun and unique menu. We tried all the apps and three different breakfasts dishes and everything was good. Really fun drinks too

Visited recently with a group of friends and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Bacon flights were a nice table addition to the Sweet &Spicy Chicken and Waffles I ordered. Cold brew was high quality as well. 100% recommend as a breakfast or brunch spot!

My wife and I are most excited when a new breakfast place opens in the area. It took us a while to get to Sisters and are disappointed we didn’t get there earlier. They have a robust menu with several options that caught our eye – I settled on the Spicy Burrito and she had the #17, a more traditional plate. The burrito was packed with eggs and covered with a yummy cheese sauce. She was impressed with how perfect her over-easy eggs were. Our waitress was great, prompt and friendly. The vibe was awesome, a throwback to the 60s with cartoons playing on a corner TV. We are definitely heading back!

Stepping into this breakfast spot in Traverse City felt like we had entered a stylish time capsule.

The ambiance is a harmonious blend of clean lines, warm tones, and iconic design elements that evoke the elegance of the 1950s and 60s. A standout feature is the stunning light fixture over the bar—a sculptural masterpiece that casts a soft glow, enhancing the atmosphere.

The menu offers classic comfort food with inventive twists. From “chrunchy” french toast to savory eggs benny, featuring unexpected ingredients, each dish is thoughtfully prepared and presented. The service is exceptional…attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.

A highlight of our visit was meeting Lisa, one of the “sisters” behind this establishment. Her passion and warmth added a personal touch that made our experience even more special.

Complementing the restaurant, today, was “Fern,” a mobile floral business. The presence of Fern, and the ability to make your own bouquet, added a creative, natural element that beautifully contrasted the sleek interior design.

This restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it’s a destination that offers a unique blend of design, culinary delight, and heartfelt hospitality. A must-visit spot that left a lasting impression.
