1st time in. So glad I did. This place sets the bar for tasty Thai food. Fantastic flavor ! There were 5 things on menu I wanted. I had the eggplant stir fry with chicken. Eggplant has a bad rep. Nobody orders it but this dish was excellent. The service is quick and friendly. I look to forward to coming back and trying my four other favorites. Thank you❤️

I got takeout and felt the food was a bit subpar. Pineapple fried rice was very bland with no flavor. Rlgreen curry ordered as mild came out very spicy.

I will say the pad Thai was fantastic. And the only shining star of our order.

I have to say that this is one of the best Thai restaurants I have been able to try that isn’t in San Fran or Berkeley.
They are not stingy with the portions of food and the flavor is amazing. Each dish has flavor and individual attention of love.
Plus the roti and curry sauce ….mmm
Make sure to try every item on the menu at least once!

Of everything, I expect that a spicy dish would be actually spicy.

I ordered the Spicy Eggplant dish with tofu. It was nowhere near spicy. It felt barely seasoned. No heat at all!

When I asked for it to be spicy-spicy, that didn’t happen.

Extremely disappointed

I upset when heard the previous thai restaurant was closing as I like it and there are pretty few good food options in Martinez. But I have to say that I like Sisaket even better! We always get a couple currys and the coconut lemon grass soup. It is always delicious! We now compare every other Thai restaurant we go to with Sisaket. Rarely do we find anything as good. Service is always friendly and accommodating. So glad we have this little gem in Martinez! Please patron them so they can stay!

It’s our second time coming here and it didn’t disappoint. Food was great. We ordered the sweet and sour Pampano and catfish the first time, and today we order the beef curry & branzino. All gone. Great service. Definitely recommend 100%.

So my husband and I came here for lunch today because we were in the area. The place is clean and the staff is lovely. We ordered the Curry Noodles with chicken, the fried fish (sauce on the side) the ribeye with fried rice and the roti and curry as an appetizer.

The fish was fried perfectly and tasted fresh. The sauce that came with it my husband liked but I found that overall the way they make their food is way too sugary. The yellow curry served with the roti was too sweet and the roti was not as flaky as it could have been. The curry noodles had the same sauce as the roti so again super sweet tasted like sweeter condensed coconut milk mixed with a yellow curry powder with a touch of chili flakes. Definitely didn’t have the flavor of authentic curry. The chicken was cooked well but not seasoned at all (a pinch of salt would have been perfect) and it was a good portion. The ribeye and fried rice my husband loved.

Overall, I don’t think the chefs here are doing their best to bring authentic flavor of Thai cuisine. I wanted to love it but I just barely liked it. But, if you’ve never had true Thai cuisine you may like it a lot. So don’t take my word for it.

By any name over the last few years, this has been a great (delicious) place to enjoy friends and to converse in a gentle environment with pleasant service. I haven’t eaten any Thai food there that wasn’t delicious. The curries are probably my go-to favorites. R
