My experience today was extremely disappointing.
Regardless of the polite young man who greeted me, my order of chicken biryani was terrible—bland, colorless, odorless, and seemed like it was drowning in water. I informed the young man about it, and he suggested I order something else, which I refused. I was forced to pay for a meal I didn’t even eat. I also spoke to an older man, who seemed to be the chef or the owner, but he didn’t care or respond at all. I even offered for them to taste it themselves. I ended up paying for nothing. Very poor restaurant, I do not recommend anyone to go there

The place that will make you love Indian food! I have tried many since and none compare. I come here multiple times a month and always leave full and feeling comforted! I always get the chicken Kashmiri and chicken tiki masala, the naan is incredible and the best raita you can find. Thank you siri for always making the best food ❤️

This place is very near my apt so visit from time to time. I love Indian food but have to say, the food here doesn’t taste very fresh? Like either it comes from cans or made days before! I hope they prepare it fresh but each time I visited it seems slightly, sort of stale. The spices are just right though and the breads are always very flavorful, warm and perfect. But the main dishes just don’t seem to have a fresh taste. Disappointing. I’ve visited India and have many Indian friends who’ve invited me to dinner in their homes so I know how indian food should taste!

Absolutely phenomenal! Cannot recommend this place enough. Traveling from Texas but have had Indian food in many many places traveling and this has been my favorite.

This was my first time visit. I had two vegetarian dishes. One was the samosas, and the other one was a Grilled potato appetizer. The food was exceptional quality. I can tell they put a lot of work into creating the best Indian dishes. The servers were very nice and attentive. I cannot say enough about their mint chutney either. This is such a great little spot on Northwest 23rd and it is clearly not just another chain. But rather, there’s a lot of effort to put into their food and their business. The seating is also comfortable. And you have a nice view of Northwest 23rd through very big windows.
I highly recommend this restaurant when you’re looking for delicious Indian food and are wanting to eat healthy..

The only Indian in the US where I’ve found Chicken Tikka Masala that rivals, and often surpasses what I get back home in the UK. The garlic naan is outstanding too.

Went there for the first time. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but service was friendly and tables were clean. So that was a good start.

We ordered 2 starters, which tasted great, yet the chicken meat wasn‘t really tender. For entrees we had 2 Biryanies (mutton & chicken), they were both very good. My vindaloo tasted good, but I ordered it spicy (Level 4 out of 5) and it was not spicy at all.

Overall a mixed experience, yet I would come back and give it a second chance!

This is one of my go to places in Portland. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 13 years. Every time I try the food, I am amazed at the complexity and by how superior it is to the Indian food I get in my home town. The people working there are warm and friendly but not intrusive, it is never crowded. I think most people get the food to go. The restaurant is clean. I am pretty boring, I get the chicken tikka, the saag paneer, naan, and samosas. I drive 1.5 hours to get to this place and it is well worth it.

The flavors are mild and the spice level was perfect. We have tried a few Indian restaurants in Portland and decided to try Siri tonight. The food was just average.

We ordered Potato Pakora for appetizer, and did enjoy the dish The pakora was much different than what we get back home in PA but the flavors were fine.

I ordered the Matar Paneer with a medium spice level. The sauce was light on flavor but overall the dish was fine. The rice is fresh.

My partner ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala and his dish had much more flavor and was quite good.

Overall, just average Indian food.

What a phenomenal little gem! I’ve been here twice now and I’m sure there will be many more returns. Every dish so far has been delightful, simple yet complex, well flavored. My friends and family who can eat the naan love it but there are plenty of GF options. I particularly like the goa curry!
