This restaurant has some of the best food in the Bay Area. Came as a large party of 6, and had incredible service. And luckily with such a large group, we were able to try so many dishes. Literally everything we had was amazing, but if I had to pick out just a couple of highlights … the scallop was a knockout. I’m not even a huge fan normally, but this dish was incredible, melted in your mouth good. The tuna was also fabulous … the fried chicken and biscuits was a WOW according to everyone at the table. And the chocolate cake, it’s a childhood dream cake. I loved everything about this restaurant. I’ll come back again and again.

I wanted to give this place a 5 stars and just couldn’t. They are doing so so so much right and at or above a 5 star rating. The atmosphere is perfect. Walk into a warm cozy restaurant with small nods to the sea that’s tasteful and inviting.
The service also maybe the best service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Everyone is so attentive, friendly and authentic. Our server jasmine actually had great insight and thoughts about the dishes and what to order.
The cocktail and wine list is great, the appetizers amazing, the desert also great. The menu concept is also incredible you can tell all the fish they pick are in season and local. Everything made to order. Incredible concept.
Now here’s my issue. Every one of us in our group of 6 had issues with our main dish. The steak was over salted, the peteale sole i felt was dry and under seasoned. They provided a clarified butter sauce on the side which was good but I don’t want to have to add that to my dish to get it to taste good. The mains weren’t bad but to have everything rock that hard and then have the main dishes be “okay” is a little disappointing. I would defiantly come back check it out have a drink with a friend and apps but idk if I could say you must come here for dinner.

Four of us went for dinner after we reviewed the positive ratings at Sirene, and I liked it when the restaurant was inhabited by Sisters.
We ordered cocktails all around that were delicious. We ordered crudités, which consisted of 6 small-cut vegetables on a bed of crushed ice, Parisian-style. Although the dipping was very good, we felt it was ridiculously small for $15 – I mean, that is a huge margin for tiny pieces of vegetables. We also shared 12 oysters and the chicory salad, which were excellent. For our main, we all shared the fish and chips, steelhead, and mussels. Except for the fish and chips, they were all well-executed, with complex flavors. The fish in the fish and chips were way too greasy. We did mopped up every bit of sauce of the other dishes with the toasted levin.
For dessert, we ordered the lemon custard and the chocolate cake – both were gobbled up.
The service was how I liked it – friendly and efficient. We each spent just over $90 without tip. I’d come back.

Overall had a nice time trying out this spot, but left with quite a bit to be desired. We arrived with no reservation on a Tuesday evening, and were able to snag a corner table outside (which was comfortable with the heaters above!) We got a round of cocktails to start, and they were good but not the best I’ve ever had. Presentation was pretty though. As for the food, the scallop crudo was yummy but such a small size. Got the dumpling which was a burst of lamb flavor but could not taste the uni. Fries were delicious, as was the gnocchi! Ettoufe was fine but nothing special; would not get again. Donuts were incredible and the buttermilk ice cream was out of this world! It seems that their big thing on the menu is fried chicken so if you are a fan of it, then it might be a better experience. Next time, I would try out their wine list and snack on fries and donuts.

We had birthdays to celebrate. Our daughter wanted to dine here. We started with some appetizers: oysters, the terrine, mortadella, the lamb-uni dumpling, and fried anchovies with shishito peppers. We opted for their bread with fermented butter too. All delish! We all shared half a fried chicken and a whole petrale sole. Spectacular! For dessert we just had beignets and strawberry sorbet with chartreuse.

Sirene is one of my favorite new(ish) restaurants in the bay! As an S.F. resident this spot is always worth the drive but I suggest brining a designated driver cause the wine list is off the charts! Come hungry and save room for dessert.

Ahhh lovely new restaurant vibes and decor all a 10 . Starting off strong seafood tower was DELISH. Maybe not worth the price but fun to experience and I want to try the terrines. The crudo I loveddd the smoky white mussel puree thing blew my mind. Do not get the lamp dumplings a salty salty mouthful of cumin our server hyped it up. The champagne very yummy and not a huge bubbles person. Mains were excellent and some of the best mussels I had super plump and big(I feel like these are the wrong words but idk what the right ones are). Bread is from rize up and while I prefer acme bread it’s not bad I just would appreciate it warm. Strawberry chartreuse dessert thing is sooooo goood and was surprised by the lemon custard bowl bc it was just literally a bowl of custard but so yum. Presentations needs some work but both would order again. Donuts and cake were kinda eh , points off bc they stop serving coffee and at the end of the night and I need an espresso with my sweet treat.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed it. The bar and server team were super attentive, from water to cocktails they made sure our cups were full. They provided both drink and food recommendations and nailed both. We had the fried chicken. It was juicy and the skin was light and flaky. We also had the oysters and they were amazing! I recommend and look forward to returning.

Fantastic food and service!! We dropped in on a Sunday night and immediately got seated. The ambience was lovely — warm, upscale, but not over the top. Very comfortable! One of our party has allergies, and they easily made substitutions to accommodate her dietary needs! Every dish was delicious and very reasonable priced for the quality! 5 stars!!!

Lovely dinner, the new 40pp fried chicken dinner set is such a joy (what a deal!!) we waddled out completely stuffed. it starts with a perfect oyster, salad, dashi soup and chip n dip, followed by biscuits and fried chx that came out piping hot and dipped into the sausage gravy was delicious. collard greens on the side. chocolate cake to finish. completely satisfied
