Host was cordial and showed us seats right away. We did have reservations and I highly recommended them. The restaurant is small. Otherwise you can eat at the bar. The cocktail selections were phenomenal and tasted the same. Chilled shrimp cocktail with shredded fresh horseradish and house made crackers was delicious as was the yeast rolls with sea salt and Satsuma honey butter. The scallops were fresh and tasty and the fondant potatoes were excellent. I was a little disappointed in the Beff Wellington it was very chewy and dry. Just not good flavor and wasn’t what I expected. We usually go to White Pillars for our special occasions and are never unsatisfied, but we decided to try Chef Summeral’s new location. Overall I like the vibe. All servers were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. I think I’ll save this gem as a appetizers and cocktail affair.

The absolute best! My husband and I love food and drinks, especially when they are a little out of the ordinary. Sirens has gone above and beyond every time we have been!! The staff is amazing, the atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a secret club only for the cool kids, and the drinks are so fun and creative! (Don’t worry, they have the standard stuff too) The food is fit for a King! Presentation and flavor that is unmatched. So happy we get to experience this gem.

I don’t know why I was surprised how cool this place was, everything Chef Austin does is awesome. The back patio felt made you feel like somehow you had snuck your way into the cool kids club! The drinks were great and service was exceptional, so I highly recommend going to dinner a little early and grabbing a drink on the back patio.

THE FOOD! It was my birthday, so I ordered the whole menu. The crispy hermit oysters, garlic shrimp & Fois Gras were all 10/10 appetizers. The yeast rolls with orange honey butter were straight from Grandma’s kitchen, and Grandma was on her “A” game. My wife got the scallops w/ little scallop potato stacks and I got the bone-in Ribeye. This steak was cooked perfectly, and I don’t know how they cook this thing because it’ll feed me until my next birthday it was so dang big. The scallops/potatoes/sauce were perfect and the portion was so generous, which normally ordering scallops leaves you hungry. For desert they had a chocolate crème brûlée, which is now my new favorite desert.

The staff was wonderful and by the time we left I had made some new friends. Thanks for an awesome birthday!

Service was excellent, the team were all personable and professional and seemed to enjoy genuinely their craft, and working in tandem. Atmosphere is perfect for a date night or a catch up with friends. Decor was smart and cozy. Food and cocktails were excellent. We had the caviar, cacio e pepe, affogato, and some cocktails. My Paloma was delicious, but the sips I stole of my husband’s Bolsa were my favorite, and I’ll be ordering that one next time. Cacio e pepe is my comfort food, and this was an elevated take. Liked it even more than what we had in Italy. Great experience here.

I’m already excited to go back. I had the frozen paloma and another fruity frozen cocktail called the junebug. Both were amazing. Then had the garlic shrimp and yeast rolls as an appetizer. Zero complaints. The cacio e pepe and broccolini followed and were some of the best entrees I ever had. Lastly, i had the chocolate creme brulee and like everything else, it was absolutely amazing. A perfect ending to a wonderful solo dinner date. I highly recommend this place. The playlist is fire too!

Need a reservation to get in easily. May have a little wait otherwise. Can get a little busy, but great unconventional food options. The yeast rolls with satsuma butter was amazing. We had the crispy chicken, which adding the butter from the rolls elevated the dish, and the beef wellingtons are individually hand-made superb.

Amazing! Only word to describe Siren Social. From the speak easy vibe to the drink menu and delicious food. This is a foodies dream. We had the 1000 layered potatoes, ravioli, scallops, broccolini and chocolate crème brûlée Wish we could have ordered one of everything on the menu. The ability to do a tapas style ordering was wonderful.

Ted and I had our birthday celebration last night. We began with Oscar, our bartender making us a lovely cocktail. We were then escorted into a lovely restaurant and introduced to Jojo, our waiter, and served complimentary champagne. We loved our Beef Wellington, Caesar salad, pomme frites and luscious yeast rolls with satsuma butter. It was delicious and such a lovely evening. We will be back.

Visited recently for the first time. Chef’s Kiss, folks! First, let’s talk atmosphere – very sophisticated, intimate, romantic, and beautifully designed. It feels like you’re in someone’s home (a rich friend’s home LOL) but it’s just got that welcoming feeling. I’d suggest a reservation because it is so small, but I ate and had a cocktail at the bar. I had the Cacio e Pepe and it was absolutely perfect – the ratio of cheese to pasta, just the right amount of pepper, and served nice and hot. Plus, they use squid ink pasta which was a nice twist on the dish. The Hemingway Spritz was hands-down one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had! Second only to Summer in Siberia at Nocturne in Denver. It was tangy, bubbly, and delicious, with nice grapefruit notes, and quite refreshing. The service at the bar was pretty good, but a tad slow, as bartender did a lot of chatting with other customers. Other than that, a near perfect experience. I highly recommend!

Siren Social Club

We read all the reviews, studied the menu and went ahead and made our reservations. I usually wait a few weeks for the newest hotspot to cool off before trying it out but Chef Austin is an experienced Chef and Restaurant owner with White Pillars Restaurant and Lounge being our favorite restaurant. So we went ahead and made reservations. Highly recommend you make reservations a week in advance because this place is going to be on with the ambience and food experience Chef Austin and the Siren Team is delivering.

Siren Social Club is located inside the beautiful Vela Hotel in downtown Gulfport. We showed up for our 6:45 PM reservations at 6:30 pm. The lobby had a few others waiting. We waited in the lobby and were invited in less than 10 minutes later. We entered in through plain doors (speakeasy) but the inside was anything but plain.

It’s dark inside the main dining hall which I love. Adds to the Cuban speakeasy vibe. The gorgeous bar extends the full length of the dining room with the bar on one side and table seating on the other. The back of the dining room is where the open window to the kitchen and chefs table (bar) is located. We were particularly impressed by the coved ceiling design over the bar. The architecture adds to the ambiance along with the music. Instantly, you are transported to an upscale bar somewhere in downtown South Beach, Miami.

Brendan, our resident WP (White Pillars) mixologist made his debut greeting us almost immediately as we bellied up to the bar. His talent really shines when that first drink arrives. You know you are not dining at just any ole place. Nope, these drinks are anything but average. I had the mojito and felt like Gloria Estefan would have been impressed with this one. Light and effervescent with a bushel of mint on top. My partner in this crime had the ‘Bull by the Horns’ bourbon cocktail. I stole a few sips and it was delicious.

Appetizers:
We started off with the paddlefish caviar service. Caviar service included potato Bellinis and house made kettle potato chips. The accoutrements included a creme fraiche dill topping, chives and a soft cheese. Excellent. We loved the old fashioned lazy Susan it was served on with lead glass crystal serving dishes. Reminded me of the old fashioned lead crystal my grandmother had on hand for Sunday dinners. Beautiful presentation.

We followed the caviar service with our favorites- Deer Island French Hermit Oysters. Can’t go wrong with those.

Entree:
We chose the beef Wellington for our entree. It’s more than enough to split. I am always nervous about ordering wellingtons as it’s not an easy item to execute well. Imagine my surprise when the Beef Wellington arrived perfectly cooked with a stunning medium rare center staring back at me. It was delicious. For our side, we decided on the 1000 layer potatoes. I don’t have it within me to skip those when I see them on a menu. Always a crowd favorite. We both decided to pair our Wellington with a glass of Saldo.

Dessert
We finished strong with the chocolate ganache creme brûlée. Love. Love. Love.

All in all, this place is going to be popular for a long time to come. Consider this, Siren is only 2 days old and service was flawless. The atmosphere is upbeat and what you might would find walking down Drive in South Beach, Miami. This is the place for singles to mingle, couples to enjoy a date night out in a sexy new place or for friends to gather after hours for upscale drinks. The music is on point and the atmosphere transports you to another place and time. Chef Austin and the Siren Team have brought another amazing experience to the MS Gulf Coast and we are all here for it. — at Siren Social Club.
