Brenda was my server so sweet nice and knowledgeable. Served me exactly how I wanted. My food atmosphere is very nice. Very clean menu short but decent it’s mostly a breakfast location. I had the French onion soup and raisin toast yummy. They have the cutest little water glasses that come with your hot tea and hot tea and a nice glass dispenser. Here you get to choose the type of tea you want very nice. Best restaurant offers tables as well as boots and they’re very comfortable. You do pay at the register before you leave not your server. Your server is as good and nice as mine. Be sure to leave a hefty gratuity cash for gratuity is better for servers since they won’t have to pay the full amount of taxes

This place is awesome, the food is awesome, the service is awesome! Every good thing I’ve heard about Sir Hobo’s is % accurate! I will absolutely be back again! I understand that they are only open until 2p.m., but it’s worth the trip!

Super friendly OG server who kept the coffee “warmed” and a joke ready; perfect diner experience on a late morning in January. The chicken fried steak was good, the hobo supreme skillet was delicious, and the hash browns were perfectly crunchy. We’ll be back when we need another dreary morning pick me up!

This is a nice place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or brunch it’s my go to when people come to town as the service and food are always on point and they aren’t too usually too busy on a Sat or Sunday morning to get you in. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful waitress named Brenda and a party of seven. Not only was the service impeccable, she was also a lot of fun.
I had Classic Eggs Benedict and it was excellent. They also have two other options of it and one is vegetarian. The hash browns with it were crispy, not greasy.
Several of my friends had omelets and they were light and fluffy.
There is ample parking. It is easy accessible for wheelchairs.
Additionally, gasoline has much cheaper in the last year in Sun Prairie as compared with Madison (2025) so don’t gas up until you visit.

Nice place, warm & comfortable. Food was pretty good. Pancakes were not warm, need to send them back to be warmed up. Biscuits and gravy were good. Brenda was our waitress, she was very nice & attentive to our needs. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a “greasy-spoon style” place with a breakfast focus. Their food is lovely, the prices are reasonable-low for this area. It’s relatively tidy and well-run. Nothing is going to blow your mind about this place, but consistency is often worth a lot.

Great little family restaurant! They have a great selection of classics and they are the perfect size for the price. The garden skillet had a generous amount of veggies and eggs. Their pancakes are the perfect size and absolutely delicious. Biscuits and gravy were a huge portion and well worth every bite. Great place to grab breakfast with the entire family!

Loved the food here! The sausage links were larger than the standard size and delicious! The pumpkin pancakes were so tasty! Service was fast and friendly. And the restaurant was so cute. Would go again when next in town!

I came here with my kid for a diner experience. Ordered flat sausage and eggs. He ordered the crepe of the day. With milk and coffee, it was $47 after the smallest tip option. It’s one thing to have premium prices, but it should at least attempt to be a good meal. The paper thin bacon was cooked until all the fat was rendered out and crumbly. The hash browns were more steamed than fried. I’m not a reactive consumer, but it’s difficult to believe that anyone would feel good about this cost to quality experience.
