Recently I finally got the chance to check out Sip & Savor. This one located in Bronzeville has a very cozy & welcoming vibe when you come in. From the unique art of historic black figures, to the hard working baristas that make you feel right at home.
Me and my gf ordered the Honey Lavender latte, Apple Pie latte, Carrot muffin, Apple danish, and the turkey breakfast sandwich.
Everything was delicious. They do prepare everything fresh for you so expect a small wait time when you arrive , especially if it’s busy.
I can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely LOVE! The cafe has a very relaxing, community atmosphere. I really enjoyed the music they played and the art that decorated the shop. My americano was also delicious. There’s plenty of seating and places to charge your phone. They also have lots of non-espresso and hot food options. If I lived closer I would be a regular for sure.

This was my first time at this specific location but my 5th time at a Sip&Savor, and I must say that there is a high-level of cosistency at each location I have been to! The staff is kind and approachable, the coffee is delicious, the teas are wonderful and the pastries are delectable! Always stellar vibes and atmosphere. It’s both homely and engaging. Love the converstational Black art pieces in the decor as well. (Peep the Iverson mural) The pricing of the items are very reasonable. I bought an Americano for $5 and a caramel apple cider for $4.50. Recommendation is a no-brainer!

This is exactly the coffee shop you want in your neighborhood. Consistently great drinks every time. No guessing, no surprises. Excellent pastries. Friendly, welcoming staff who clearly care about what they’re doing.
Every neighborhood needs a place like this. Skip the drive-thru, come here instead, you’ll be glad you did.

I discovered this place after doing a Google search for black owned cafes that were open early and served something sweet. When I walked in the coffee aroma smelled enticing! And I’m not a coffee drinker. What I did order was a cinnamon roll, blueberry muffin, and chocolate chip cookie. I ate the cinnamon roll in the car. Thus, I don’t have a picture of it, but it had all pillowy and cinnamon goodness all inside of it. The blueberry muffin was good too! (Someone pointed out that hum when I eat something that tastes really good. I didn’t know I did it.) That’s what happened when I ate the muffin. The chocolate chip cookie had the perfect amount of chocolate chips! The edge was crispy with a soft chewy center!!! And it was big! I did join the rewards program. The cashier did mention they sell tea too. This visit was from September. I recently went through my pictures and realized I forgot to write a review and post the pics.

The honey latte is phenomenal! They just had one barista the first time I came so the line was a little long, but overall great coffee in a fun atmosphere. PS – Weekend days they had two and it was quick!
(Wish they had a gf breakfast food option).

Really dope place. The service was great and my coffee was brewed fresh. The outdoor patio space was well lit and clean. It wasn’t too noisy and I was able to find great seating to meet with my team. I also love how the local artwork accent the space. It’s a warm and lovely cafe.

I’ve been coming to the 43rd Street location for quite a few years (there are a few locations on the South side and the suburbs), whenever I want to grab a refreshing tea or a quick, light bite to eat. The coffees and teas are made just right (my favorite is the Honey Ginsing). They serve a variety of alternative ‘creams’ for every taste palette and those who are health conscious.
The cafe’s ambience is pleasing, the artwork is nice and the music is perfect. Whether you’re meeting with friends, business associates, or just spending some quiet time alone, you’ll have a good experience.

Sip and Savor is a fantastic neighborhood cafe. My favorite are the lattes and cinnamon rolls. There is indoor and outdoor dining. So far, it has not been too crowded. The baristas are very knowledgeable and take instruction willingly. Neighborhood gem.
