A lovely experience! I was looking for a cute spot for breakfast and downtown was absolutely atrocious for wait times, looked on google and saw this cute spot so I went and it was quiet but alive if that makes sense. Very cute cozy atmosphere wonderful sweet staff, the menu options were versatile and affordable and I could not say no to the mimosa flight

Great little coffee shop. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are delicious. Nice hangout spot to talk. I would say food is slightly on the pricier side BUT I think it’s worth it.

I’ve seen social media advertisements for this place, but never stopped by until this gloriously sunny Thursday morning. Sip has all the style of the best coffee bars across the states and a menu (and execution) to back it up. I enjoyed a straightforward latte with their signature avocado toast. The Kaladi Brothers espresso beans were very pronounced in the latte but not overpowering to the frothy creamy steamed milk. The avocado toast was amazing: thick sliced Texas toast with a slight hint of butter and layered with fresh avocado slices, spices, salt and pepper, and even some sesame seeds. Will be back for sure!

This is a wonderful place for a cup of coffee on a rainy day. It was my first time here, and I had a cup of latte & cappuccino and totally enjoying it. The place has an amazing atmosphere, it is very relaxing, the decorations is warm and tasteful. I would come back here again and again, especially since it is only half a mile from my hotel. It is a bonus for a boring and rainy day in Anchorage, I meant it in a good way and really like this little town.

Something in the food.

Just something to keep in mind. I’ve been to SIP Cafe before mainly for coffee. Once in awhile, I’ve noticed an off taste or slight strange feeling afterwards but was still able to carry on throughout the day with some pepermint so I didn’t think too much about it. I just visited less often.

Today was different. It’s been awhile so I decided to stop for lunch.

First, I noticed the gal seemed to rush me even though there was only 1 other person in line, next she didn’t even ask my preference but instead suggested I take my food to go. Strange. Normally I would eat at a table but it was nice out so I thought I’d just eat outside. No big deal right?

I ordered a breakfast sandwich which the same gal quickly offered to heat up. She took the sandwich and disappeared behind the bar. Thinking all was good, I took the sandwich, left and within 10-15 min. of eating, there was a sudden sharp pain that hit. No food allergies to report and I felt great the whole morning up until this point. The pain only increased afterwards making me quiet sick.

From my experiences alone, I simply can not recommend SIP Cafe but I sincerely hope no one else has the same odd and very painful experience I had.

We went here right near closing about 15 minutes to close and ordered some quiche for the next morning, a monthly special coffee flight that was taster of three distinctly amazing drinks. We had a cookie butter cold brew with cold foam, shot of espresso with a robin egg con panna, and a toasted marshmallow breve. There was so much attention to detail even though we were coming in close to closing. The entire lounge had a nice open relaxing vibe, there was so much creative energy that went into the menu as well as the decorations. I found my new favorite coffee shop!

Coffee tasting flights! That’s all you need to know. They have regularly scheduled flights, then they have seasonal flights themed for the time. Of course its Kaladi Brothers Coffee, so its amazing. A lunch date here on a weekday is a fantastic idea, follow me for more relationship advice.

Cute coffee shop for studying or grabbing a cup to go! Stopped here for a smoothie post-workout and was very impressed by the aesthetic inside, as the outside is a little unassuming. They have a wide variety of hot and cold drinks. Will be back!
