This is a wonderful restaurant. The food was amazing, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The environment was clean and comfortable. We had a great experience and will definitely come back again!

This place’s really cute, nice in decoration and has good vibes. We stopped by for dinner as we heard that there’s a new spot just opened in the area.

We ordered few dishes and all of them tasted really good. The chicken wings were so crispy and juicy. Both of the slippery egg dishes were amazing in texture and taste (egg’s-soft and sauces’s flavorful). I love their grapefruit bear soda, a bit sweet but it didn’t disappoint!

They closed one section of the place, maybe because they’re understaffed and that made us wait about 20 minutes, without having to join any waitlist. Luckily, they remembered us and seated us right away when they had a table.

Food came out a bit slow, maybe 15 minutes after we ordered from the tablet they provided. The place’s just opened and we could tell they’re doing their best to work on things. We liked this place overall and we’ll be back for sure!!

So excited to finally get a good spot for HK cafe style food. While the menu is limited during soft opening I’ve been here every other day since their launch last Friday with different friends.

What you can expect is good food with great value and a very fresh bo luo Bao (pineapple bun). I think their egg omelets rice is also one of the best if not the best in greater Boston area. Although if you like your food on the heavier seasoning maybe ask for extra sauce.

The ice lemon tea is also very good and so happy to have a spot where I can finally get this in Boston, used to have to wait until I make a trip to flushing.

In terms of atmosphere it’s a very casual spot so don’t expect fancy dining. The price point definitely reflects this too as most dishes are $15 to $18 so pretty good value. Good place for a quick bite

Now the probably the most contentious part, the wait time. I’ll be very honest over the weekend it was insane in terms how much demand and they’re severely understaffed with the same staff basically working a full day shift no changes in staff. While it was frustrating I also did feel terrible for them. That said I’ve been coming during the weekday instead and it’s way more chill. Until they fully launch I’d expect service to be wobbly as they test what works and what doesn’t.

I will continue to support to as I want business like this to succeed so we can have more food options in Malden! Excited to see them at their full launch!

We came on a Friday for lunch. The menu itself really has limited choices. I find it’s mostly the same ingredients with different variation. Char siu with rice or spaghetti or soup noodles, slippery egg or none. The meat in the dishes are overly processed so it loses the actual meat texture. We also tried to order some basics of cha Chan ting which is the beef noodle and the pineapple bun with chicken but they didn’t have them. The good thing is that the slippery egg is good and the flavor of the dishes were pretty good too. Overall I wouldn’t come again to this one. I’ve actually been to the one in new York and that one was pretty decent with afternoon tea sets. Service was quick but not friendly.

I was skeptical about trying this place when I first saw the negative feedback from soft opening. But was delighted by the food and service when I went after its formal opening. Weekends tend to be busier than weekdays, so if you mind the wait, highly recommend to go on weekdays. HK milk tea is very authentic, exactly like the ones I had in HK and mainland China. The food was amazing and come in large proportions. Staffs are friendly and attentive. Can’t complain!

Great comfort food. Having grown up in HK, the food was accurate and recognizable. The food had a mix of mild and strong flavors, all well balanced. The standout was the spicy rice soup dish. Currently the only note to improve on is the pork, as it was quite dry. Dishes were also very fairly priced for the quantity. It’s refreshing to have a HK restaurant in the Boston area now and I look forward to their continued improvement.

We’ve gone 3 times now with 4-6 people each time, only had to wait 10 minutes when we got there right at 12:00. The drinks are cute, probably the best sit-down restaurant milk tea that I’ve had (not counting shops dedicated to milk tea)

Food wise, the Zao Po Vinegar soup with noodles or rice are good, just a little spicy with a great amount of vinegar flavor. The eggs are cooked perfectly velvety in the rice plates. Char Siu was about average. Golden French Toast was crispy and soft.

The food isn’t gonna change your life, but quality was great and if you’ve been craving the type of food they serve, you’re gonna have a hard time finding it elsewhere close by.

They were also very attentive to my son’s egg allergy which we appreciated. And I honestly can’t ignore that they ask if you want warm or cold water when they seat you, it felt like I was back in HK lol

Definitely looking forward to coming back again!

Finally after 3 weeks of crazy wait line out the door, we got to try this cha chaan teng! The low rating reviews not doing this place justice because most complained about the wait and not the food.
They seem to have hired more staff with food came out at faster rate than first week, friendly and faster service.
We have a lot of traditional Chinese restaurants around but rarely Hong Kong style ‘fast food’.
The food was good and very creatively presented. Wish I have a bigger stomach to try the whole menu. Glad we live nearby, will be back to try other items!

The juicy buns are delicious, and also the roast pork with egg over rice , that’s my favorite. And the waitress there are all very friendly and kind. Especially our server Fiona , she is super sweet. 🙂 Definitely gonna go back again and try different dishes. Great experience! Love it

So my family and I finally came a weekday evening after finding out this restaurant just opened up!

Ambience outside and inside is very nice: colorful designs and overall enjoyable environment.

Wait was not bad. The restaurant was packed, but we were seated shortly after a table finished.

We ordered a couple of different entrees as well as apps and drinks. The slippery eggs over rice with curry chicken was what I ordered. Really good! Eggs were made in a tasty consistency and curry was not too overwhelming; nicely balanced to my taste! The drinks w the bears def pic worthy. Pineapple bun w ice cream was adorable w the eyes.

Overall, we thought the food was pretty good, although we don’t have much experience with HK cuisine. Price is reasonable. Portion size fair. Did not have any problems with service.

Would definitely come again if in the area!
