Located in the business college sector of Tucson, surrounded by several other food venues. This place last night was extremely quiet. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious . Did not recall a restroom, however, enough venues nearby could adjust. Parking in the middle of this area is limited so plan wisely. Plenty of seating once you factor in the outside area.

I can’t believe I’ve never eaten here. I was born and raised in Tucson and never considered eating here. On a whim after a chiro appointment, I finally ate here and am so happy I did. It was late morning and not very busy, and I was seated inside. The service was great and fast. The server was friendly and gave me baklava and a wonderful hot apple tea. I felt so welcomed, and the hospitality made me feel that this is how you are treated abroad. I can’t recommend this place enough, oh and the food was great.

This restaurant is tucked at the end on the courtyard that is in the center of Main Gate Square. It does seem that it gets overlooked since it is alone in this area especially at night. I was feeling like a light dinner so decided to get takeout. Went in to order and the older woman at the counter was a little gruff. Took about 10-15 minutes to get the food shrug there was only one couple eating outdoors and no one in the restaurant. Did notice the hookah lounge on the other side of the restaurant that was also empty. The food though was very tasty so despite any initial impressions glad that I stopped in.

I absolutely love this place.. I’ve been coming here for years everyone is friendly, they know me, food is the best in my opinion or at least the best Mediterranean restaurant in Tucson hands down. If your looking for something you haven’t tried before definitely give this place a shot! And the fact you can eat and smoke hookah at the same time is perfect for me since I smoke so much but regardless try this restaurant!!! I’ll come just to hang out sometimes while I charge my phone and eat frys

Had a great meal on a Monday night, I am so grateful for the food because it’s comfort home cooked food, that I enjoy and feel so much joy of how delicious all the food on the menu is, got the lentil soup to share & the, chicken Biryani. I try & select a different plate when I visit Sinbad’s Restaurant, glad they are in the same vicinity as before SO don’t confuse them with the place that’s replaced the building they use to be at. Sinbad’s Restaurant has been established for 17 year now and I am appreciative of the service the owner always offers, what an amazing cook and most welcoming individual.

I’ve read the other reviews, especially the “1 star” reviews, and this was truly some fantastic, delicious Mediterranean food!
If you’ve never traveled to this part of the world, this food will only make you wish you could go there.
Very humble, quaint establishment. Incredibly friendly, attentive staff. Very tasty, authentic food. Very relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere.
The Lamb Shank over rice with an after-dinner-side of baklava and a Turkish coffee was my choice for the night – I was not disappointed.
I haven’t had this “authentic” since I was in Saudi Arabia.
I will eat here again, someday, and I highly recommend you give it a try.

The best Mediterranean food ever for me. The only shame is I don’t live in town to eat here more. The lamb is excellent and so is the beef. The baclava is made there and is the best. They make their own pita bread and it isn’t better anywhere else. The lady who owns this place is an absolute sweetheart. This is homemade Mediterranean food with an Iraqi zest on it. Eat here.

This was the first time I’ve been to this place, but I’ve seen it forever. This charming little restaurant is perfect for a delicious and different dinner or lunch with polite service and a welcoming feel.
We ordered the chicken shawarma entree, beef arayes, and the chicken biryani. Each plate came out hot and fresh and smelled amazing.
The shawarma was seasoned well and sat on top of a bed of rice with a side of hummus.
This was the first time I tried areyas and I was not disappointed. They were full flavored and fresh. It came with hummus and a salad.
I really enjoyed the chicken biryani. It had great spice to it, the chicken was so good and seemed to have been fried, it was perfect.
Over all this place was wonderful and I look forward to visiting it again. It may be my new favorite Mediterranean food place I tucson, I would recommend it to anyone.
