Went to Sinbad recently and I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered the chicken tandoori and the sauce was watered down, it did not have the same flavor anymore. Another thing the smell from the restrooms is overpowering. Sadly to say I will not go again.

Its my birthday tradition for 23+ years. Still my favorite lunch spot. I could eat here at least 3 to 4 times a week. The food is always delicious and the service is great. We live on the Eastside but will drive here for the food alone!

First time visit. I would have given it a 5 but their restrooms are . Make sure you go before you arrive. Now onto the food.
It was delicious. So many different layers of flavor. I ordered the chicken tandoori with rice it came with tzatiki sauce and a very spicy avocado sauce. Very well seasoned. My husband ordered the beef shawarma and he enjoyed it as well. My son had the chicken curry which I think will order the next time. I loved the coconut flavor. All in all it was delicious and we will return.

I have been coming here for almost 20 years now. The service has always been good and the best part of it all….the food has always been great! Consistently great!
My family’s usual is the hummus, combination plate, gyro plate, and our drinks. My kids absolutely love the hummus and gyro meat.
If you’re a first timer, I recommend the combination plate, because it has a little of everything. The rice! Borderline addicting and so tasty every time we go. I’ve tried a few other things from the menu like the tandoori chicken, grape leaves, falafel, the lentil soup, and it’s all been so delicious.
Also, I love Fuze raspberry tea and they have it!

THE RICE! This place serves the best rice I’ve ever had. I don’t know why it’s so good, but it’s flavorful, fluffy, and delicious. Whatever you get, you have to have the rice with it. The rest of the food is really good, but we have had the best luck with the sandwiches over the platters (just make sure you add that side of rice!). The hummus is solid but not outstanding. The real star at this restaurant is the rice, which might seem weird until you try it!

Wow where do I start? As a 20 plus year customer of Sinbad. It is with great pain to say, first their food has heavily declined…I use to get the chicken tandoori with grape leaves and hummus as well as the gyro platter to go. The Chicken Tandoori sauce has been watered down and the chicken has been cut smaller to render more…as well as their yogurt sauce is more watery in consistency and lacking that once tasty tang.the rice is just buttery mid side that doesn’t have the depth of spice it once had. I can go on…grape leaves taste canned..the gyro platter is Gamier than usual and tastes old. The aesthetics have never been pleasant and my god the smell!!! The whole restaurant lobby just smells like a Cincinnati bar bathroom…not to mention the 2 guys that “serve” seem to not be all there or attentive…they just eagerly wait for you to pay the bill to further ignore you. I don’t know what happened but this place isn’t tasty at all anymore the once distinct flavor has disolved to a crumbly sad cold pita bread they now serve. Good bye Sinbad it was great

Visiting my brother in El Paso and he was craving Middle Eastern food. We shared a Combo Plate (Kafka, shish tawook, and gyros with saffron rice) and the Vegetarian Combo (humuus, babaganou, stuffed grape leaves, falafel) and side of Arabic Salad. What a variety of tastes, absolutely delicious and everything freshly prepared.

This is definitely a family-owned restaurant, so don’t expect the best customer service, but the staff is nice. The food is extremely tasty and full of flavor. Highly recommend it if you want something different.
