So. Much. Food. And so good!
Order horchata and after your companion drinks it all-order one for yourself. Very tasty- not too sweet and you can taste the cinnamon.

The food is top notch! It’s one of the best restaurants in town. It gets a bit loud, but the food always comes out quickly and the employees are wonderful. The drinks are super good too!

Stopped by Sinaloa after a Costco run on our way up to visit our kid at U of I, and it ended up being one of the best Mexican meals I’ve had in a while. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food was traditional and full of flavor. I had the quesabirria tacos, my wife had the cheese enchilada with a ground beef taco combo, and our little one enjoyed a shredded beef burrito. Even the sides stood out — the beans and rice were tasty, the chips and salsa were fresh, and the michelada was excellent. Overall, some of the best Mexican food in the region. We’ll definitely be back!

Really great Mexican food. Big menu, BIGGER Piña Coladas! If you ever happen to find yourself for whatever reason in the area, stop by and order way more food than you can eat!

Very good experience. The food was awesome. Service was quick and our server was nice and attentive. I’m very picky with mexican food being from San Diego and this was good. The salsa was fresh and tasty. I had chicken and rice and beans. The birria tacos looked amazing. I didn’t try though, but someone in our party got them and loved them. The desserts were great and so many to choose from. I will say don’t go here if you’re on a budget. It was $101 for 3 people for 3 entrees, 3 sodas, and 2 desserts. Kind of pricey, but good stuff.

“Authentic Mexican comfort food with heart, flavor, and family warmth”

Sinaloa Mexican Restaurant is one of those hidden gems that feels like stepping straight into someone’s home kitchen. The aromas hit the second you walk in — warm tortillas, seasoned meats, and that unmistakable sizzle from the grill that tells you everything is being made fresh.

I ordered a combination plate and was blown away by the flavor. The carne asada was tender and perfectly seasoned, the enchiladas had that rich, earthy sauce that tastes like it’s been perfected over generations, and the rice and beans were flavorful enough to stand on their own. Portions were generous, hot, and beautifully plated — no shortcuts, just honest food done right.

Service was outstanding — friendly, fast, and personal. The staff treated every table like family, checking in often and making sure drinks stayed full without hovering. You can tell this is a place run with pride and passion.

The atmosphere ties it all together: colorful décor, lively music at just the right volume, and a comfortable, easygoing energy that makes you want to stay a while. Whether you’re there for lunch with friends or a casual dinner with family, it’s the kind of spot that always hits the mark.

If you’re in Clarkston, skip the chain spots and head to Sinaloa. It’s authentic, flavorful, and one of the best examples of local hospitality in the valley.

The food was lovely but i got you guys a good one. Tomorrow i will be calling as well. I came with my wife yesterday January 19 2026 to eat food with her and her mother. We were greeted accordingly and everything went smooth. Until pay time came. The visibly teen lady around my age who was our waiter seemed to be in a rush to get us out of the restaurant and eager to give us our check. The food was good so we gave a 15 cash tip. We then proceeded to pay with card and as tipped cash we put a fat 0.00 on the tip section of the receipt. TELL ME WHY TODAY JANUARY 20 THE PAYMENT WENT THROUGH AND CASHAPP TOLD ME ONE OF YOUR LITTLE RATS TIPPED THEMSELVES WELL OVER 20$ OFF OF MY CARD AFTER LIKE I SAID I PUT A ZERO. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. IM CALLING TOMORROW AND WE ARE GETTING THIS FIXED . Update will come soon…

This is the best Mexican food I have had ever! It’s always upbeat when you come in, the service is above and beyond, and prices are better than many in the area. There really is nothing like it east of the mountains. I never eat my entire plate, but when we go here or order delivery, I eat the entire meal. We crave it now!

So good! Their pork carnitas are my favorite! My husband and I used to live close to Sinaloa and eat there frequently. We’ve since moved and I miss their food so much! The first time we went there I had a chicken chimichanga and it was the best chicken I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant ~ perfectly cooked and seasoned. So often the chicken is dry and bland. Highly recommend! The staff is also very friendly!!
