Me and my boyfriend came here for lunch, we were ravenous and all the pictures of the food made my mouth water. The service was amazing and we were the only people at the restaurant. Restaurant has really chill vibes, also clean. We ordered the lobster mac and cheese & catfish. As soon as the food came out I thought I was about to have the most delicious mac and cheese ever, but I was so disappointed when I took the first bite and tasted nothing. The entire dish was bland, so was the catfish dish. The only thing with flavor was the tartar sauce. I added hot sauce, tried to add salt and nothing fixed it. We left with a $50+ bill for flavorless food and then ended up going to eat again. This was a let down for sure and I hope this was a one time fluke since it does have good reviews and that was the main reason I decided to try it. If you come here I would skip the food and just come for drinks.

We went just as they opened so we were the only customers in the building. The server was new and the only server there and she wasn’t well versed in the menu. However, we ordered the catfish and the shrimp and grits. The catfish was well seasoned and reminded me of catfish steaks va fillets. My only turnoff was that the fish wasn’t fried hard as we requested. The shrimp and grits were simply grits with grilled shrimp on top leaving a lot to be desired. The greens on the plate were supposed to be a salad not a garnish but they don’t provide salad dressing for it so that was a bit confusing and the fries were extremely salty as they were drowned in seasoning. Also, be sure to check your bill as you pay one price for cash and one price for credit card. The server didn’t know this and we had to explain it to her because we paid cash but she charged us the credit card price which was like $5 more.
I plan to go back and try something different. The menu is appealing so maybe my experience was a one off experience. The business is locally owned so I wanted to support it. I’m pretty sure it is really popular at night as it’s located near Fremont and has a bar and Dj for the night scene.

The best fried catfish I’ve ever eaten, and including the one I ate in Louisiana! Huge pieces and extremely tasty! Even the French fries that come with it has such tasty flavor. Also try the salmon sandwich!!! The high prices deserve it! It has become my new favorite place to chow down in downtown! They even got a great DJ to make you feel even happier!

Food was good but small portions for the price. I had the lobster tail, jumbo shrimp with Mac & cheese and truffle. I didn’t taste it see and truffles. Tasted good but it wasn’t enough Mac & cheese. Hubby had the shrimp and rice. He had a good 2 big spoonfuls of rice. His side salad was a nice size compared to my 2 an 1 cherry tomato. I was giving silverware and he was giving plastic.
The spot was empty. It was a Monday night tho. The wires was really nice though.

A hidden gem in downtown Vegas! The food was AMAZING and our server was attentive.
Let’s start with the ambiance. They have music playing that keeps you tapping your foot and bobbing your head.
Started with fried catfish bites that set the mood for the incredible meal.
I ordered the catfish dinner with French fries. My lady had the grilled jumbo shrimp with cream sauce (Fireee) and my aunt orders the fried lobster and shrimp that came with mac n cheese.
We finished the meal with key lime cheesecake that was perfect end to the savory meal we just had.

I gave 5 stars to the shrimp and grits, which was excellent and great value at lunchtime. However, this restaurant had the worst service: with only two customer in the place, the server never came to see us. I ended up going to the counter to order, and to also ask to pay after waiting ages. She came to my table twice only in 1h30 minutes: to serve me a very warm glass of white wine, and then to put a my dish down. I feel sad for the cook as the service lets down what could be a destination restaurant.

We picked this restaurant based on the photos of entrees in customer reviews. The food was delicious.we shared the lobster Mac and cheese, lobster bisque, and had key lime pie for dessert. The margaritas are really good. I wanted sangria but they were out.

Sin City Seafood is a local hidden gem tucked into the NW corner of The Juhl on the ground level in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. This local’s seafood favorite is on Bonneville between Las Vegas blvd and 3rd street. They feature classic cocktails and seafood favorites like Catfish Bites, Lobster Tail and Fried Jumbo Shrimp with homemade Truffle Mac & Cheese with Smoked Gouda & Parmesan. I had a Grilled Chicken Ceaser Salad that was delicious. This local’s downtown favorite features live music several nights a week and the other nights the music is jammin! If you’re looking for a laid back spot with awesome hospitality downtown Las Vegas this is your jam! The service staff treats you like family as soon as you walk in the door and the owner was sitting at the bar. I love an owner with a boots on the ground approach to management! Great job Sin City Seafood!

I visited here around 6:35pm on a Tuesday evening with my bff. I found this place on Groupon as they had a good deal and I wanted to try something different. It wasn’t busy at all. There was 1-2 parties available. The menu is pretty limited and somewhat expensive, in my option.
Around 6:45pm, we started to place the order. I was going to get wings but didn’t have any. I was then told by waitress they may be out or low on shrimp, which is a bummer lol. I ended up getting mozzarella sticks as an appetizer with 3 piece catfish as my entree. The waitress came back and said they were out of shrimp, and my friend was going to order the firecracker shrimp.
I enjoyed the musical selection. The ambiance was great. As the sun went down, more lighting was turned on.
At 6:54pm, we were given plastic silverware. At 6:55pm, the mozzarella sticks arrived and they were hot. It came with a side of lettuce, marinara sauce, and a lemon.
My food arrived at 6:57pm, which was extremely close to just getting the appetizer. The fries were hot and seasoned well. The catfish was also hot and delicate in texture. It fell apart easily while eating. This entree came with a side of lettuce and ginger coleslaw. I don’t eat coleslaw, so I didn’t try it.
At 7pm, I got a strawberry sin city margarita with sugar rim. It was ready at 7:05pm. It was decent. The strawberry flavoring was very prominent and mildly overpowering. However, I will say it may be one of those drinks that will sneak up ok you, lol. My bff got the mai tai and it was delicious. I just had a sip and we both enjoyed it.
Per the receipt, the waitress was Cathy. I noticed that there is a difference charge for cash and card payments. It was about $3, so that’s something to be aware of.
Overall, pleasant experience. I was disappointed with them being out of the chicken and the shrimp. However, the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Our waitress was friendly too.

Most good restaurants close 10pm or earlier, or have a ridiculous wait time, if any availability at all. This place is open until 11 so we ubered right over. It was a Wednesday & they were having some type of interactive listening party. We were seated right away. Vibes were dope. I was def jamming . Owner is SUPER friendly. Drinks were strong but good! And when I tell you both their fried catfish AND blackened salmon were better than anything we had our entire trip. I mean, I literally spit out the salmon we had at Tao it was so damn dry. Sin city seafood has a very welcoming and homey ambiance with mouth watering food to top it off. Def my new spot when I’m in town. Don’t hesitate to pull up. I will Most certainly See you guys for my birthday in March!!! Thank you for your hospitality.
