Absolutely fantastic experience at Sim Sim!
We ordered the haneeth and the kofta in the oven, and both dishes were incredibly flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The food truly tasted homemade with authentic Middle Eastern touches. The service was just as impressive, warm, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in.
Sim Sim is a gem in the community, and I highly recommend everyone to come and try their amazing food. I especially encourage my Kurdish community to visit and enjoy this wonderful restaurant. Support this place. you will love it just as much as we did!

I had a truly wonderful experience at Simsim Restaurant! The hospitality and service were exceptional from the moment we walked in. The restaurant owner, Hani, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The owners, Hani and Youssef, and the manager, Sami were beyond amazing their kindness, generosity, and warm spirit made the visit unforgettable.
They kindly served us complimentary appetizers, which was a thoughtful gesture and added to the great experience. The highlight of my meal was definitely the Okra with Meat (Bamya) it was full of flavor and easily my favorite dish of the night.
Overall, the atmosphere, the quality of the food, and the outstanding hospitality made this visit truly special. Highly recommended they are absolutely fantastic!

Second solid 5- experience and here is why: The service is excellent. Mohammad and Nischal, two very nice waiters, and Nabeel, the restaurant manager, were very friendly and genuinely hospitable. They explained the menu and were so attentive and helpful the entire time, a perfect showcase of Middle Eastern hospitality. Despite the very large place, it only took us a few seconds to have their full attention/assistance whenever we needed something. 2) The dishes and drinks (awesome choices of quality teas ) were very tasty. Kudos to the chef and their team 3) The place is huge, very neat, and clean. Plenty of parking spots, too.
Would I recommend it? Definitely, YES!
Areas of improvement: Ethnic decoration. I trust a good interior decoration with ethnic design/items will bring a lot more vibes and, therefore, be a game changer for this restaurant (See the Italian restaurant Villa Bella in Burke to see what I mean).

Tried the Yemeni haneeth and it was excellent. The meat was incredibly tender, well seasoned, and full of flavor, clearly slow cooked the right way. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. A great spot if you’re craving authentic Yemeni food. Would definitely come back.

Came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday and everything was amazing. The mixed grill was juicy, hummus + baba ghanoush were super fresh, and the bread was warm and soft. Portions are huge and perfect for sharing. Great spot for family dinners. Will be back!

The service quality and atmosphere of the place was amazing! The owner is really nice and went out of his way to help us and get us cake for a birthday! The mansaf lamb was so tender and the hummus with meat was delightful! 5/5 will come back here again !

Love the food here! So flavorful 10/10 would recommend. The hummus/meat and soup were so tasty. I also loved the meat/rice. Everything is so fresh and tastes home cooked. Come here if you want yummy ethnic food 🙂

Absolutely AMAZING food. As a big fan of middle eastern food (ate at all the dmv restaurants) this place is such an underrated gem. A must visit for fans of food as this place has something for everyone. Well seasoned, fresh, and homemade. Cannot beat it with the prices they have.

Tried this newly opened kabob restaurant in Fairfax. Service was friendly, but the food needs a lot of improvement. The meat had a very unpleasant smell and taste, and basic items like yogurt sauce and a small salad that are standard at other kabob restaurants were missing. I really wanted to enjoy the meal and support a new local place, but unfortunately it wasn’t a good experience. Hopefully they can work on the flavors and sides.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to SimSim, which is destined to be the first of many visits. Fabulous humus, and Turkish coffee, as well as a lovely Yemeni chai. The meat pies and spinach pies were perfectly sized to be shared or eaten alone. And the pistachio baklava was heavenly. We plan to go back and try the whole menu.
