Great place! We stopped for lunch – the brisket was great and the BLT was super fresh. Tots were hot from the fryer and the banana pudding was the best I’ve ever had! Service was super friendly.

It’s a small place, but when I say The Best Smash Burger in Freeport Fl.
Food cooked to perfection, fries were gone before I thought about ketchup. The egg was perfect on that burger. 1ST time I’ve eaten and not been sleepy. I’m full of energy and ready to go to work.

We decided to visit Simply Southern Diner because it had such great reviews and my family loves supporting locals. The food was good but the service was lacking hospitality. My husband and I ordered the patty melt because it was recommended by others who reviewed the diner before. It was good but the side portion of fries was not substantial. The waitress was nice but she offered to refill my son’s drink but did not offer to refill mine or my husband’s drink. Also the diner was slow when we were there and we were the only people eating in, at the time, so it would have been nice if she checked in on us more frequently. There was also a piece of chicken on the floor and I feel like it should have been cleaned up because they had a lull in business. I was disappointed and while I know that it was just a snapshot in time, I will not likely go back. I wanted so desperately to enjoy my experience there because it is convenient to where we live but I think they should try to be more hospitaliable to everyone who walks in their doors.

This place has great food. The service is outstanding very friendly atmosphere. The barbecue on Fridays are some of the best barbecue. I’ve had around here in a long time thanks guys for bringing us a decent diner in the Black Creek area. Awesome job.
