I’ve had several people I work with that told me I HAVE to try for lunch so I did.
It’s a great little southern dive with a southern feel and plenty of southern hospitality. There’s a nice lady near the door playing an organ and the lunch was a buffet style plate. I’m sure they have a different selection every day so there’s likely something for everyone.
However, the lunch was a little pricey at nearly $20. I’m glad I went for business where the company was paying for lunch. I can’t justify paying that for lunch. The locals didn’t seem to mind at all as they were packed when I went.
I will likely return for a menu item because I enjoy that type food and atmosphere.

Oh my gosh baby when I tell you this is down home cooking at its finest! Man every single bite was deliciously flavorful! If your in West Monroe this place is a definite spot to stop for some good home cooking.

Very clean, very friendly servers, a great atmosphere, and the awesome smell of fresh cooked country food as soon as you open the door. Am here from Texas for work and this is the best lunch place that I’ve been to this week. Just a really awesome little spot. It’s not fancy but it’s not supposed to be. A really fun place to go for lunch and have some great tasting food.

Amazing food! Been eating from their menu for years but actually sat down today and had an amazing experience. Food was delicious and hearty. Great portion sizes and options. My husband and dad got to eat here for the first time and their plates were finished clean. No room for banana pudding but we took some to go bc it’s the best around. Thank you ladies for the wonderful service and lunch today!
