I ordered a Hummingbird cake for my sweet daughter’s 37th birthday. It is a flavor neither of us had ever tried before but wanted to. We were not disappointed. This cake was moist and delicious with a capital D. The flavor was light and delightful, it wasn’t too sweet or too rich. It was seriously the best cake we have had in a long time. Thanks so much to Simply Cakes Bakery. Y’all did an amazing job. We put the 7 candles on it but Simply Cakes Bakery did all the rest. We will be back for more.
Just want to add that their bakery smells so good when you walk in. All of the ladies were so nice and welcoming. We are excited to try some of their other cakes, cookies, casseroles and soups!

I ordered my first hummingbird cake for my birthday and I was absolutely thrilled with what I got. It is a more expensive cake, but that is because of the value in it. My 10” hummingbird cake weighed 8.1 pounds yet each piece was fluffy beautiful cake with nutty cream cheese frosting. I shared it with many people of many ages and ethnic backgrounds and everyone loved it. It will be my yearly birthday cake from now on!

Ordered key lime cake. Got home cake wasn’t centered, icing all over the box, only one layer was actually key lime, the other two tasted like vanilla. Extremely disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, it was moist…. but not really key lime flavored. Thank you Ashley for remaking the cake ! Absolutely delicious and extremely appreciated. Will definitely be back! God bless!!!

I have always wanted to stop here, so I decided to stop yesterday after I got off work. I was in the mood for a poundcake. As soon as I walked in a smell hit me and I legit almost turned back around because I didn’t want to be rude. The girl at the front corner was sweet. So I bought some Wicksburg homemade salsa and two pound cakes. I was in a rush to get out of there because I couldn’t stand the smell. I’m leaving this review hoping things will change because when u run a business esp dealing with people food, you want to be very clean. It smelled like an old dog mixed with cleaning products. Like a dirty mop or something. The poundcakes tasted OK not what I’m used to, but they were fine. I never saw the owner. I’m pretty sure she was just in the back cleaning or baking more I have no idea I just saw someone moving around back there. But I do hope this message reaches you to change the smell of your business. When someone walks into a bakery it’s suppose to smell sweet and welcoming.
