I’ve never eaten Bahamian Food before and I am not privy to trying new things but came across this food truck while exploring the area this weekend and definitely wasn’t disappointed. We had the Conch and Snapper dinners. Everything was cooked fresh and was delish! The plating wasn’t sloppy with the different portions mixing with each other and the service was inviting. We will for sure be returning.

Only giving two stars and that’s because the lady was nice, But I feel like I just wasted $28 plus gas for driving all the way down here from up in Orlando. I purchased an order of conch fritters and an order of crack conch only, no sides. But what I received was an order of fried batter for both. The fritters had the smallest tiniest little pieces of conch you could swallow them without chewing, The rest was doughy with a strange after taste. The small amount of crack conch that was in there did taste flavorful but it was fried so hard, that it was uneditable, which was very unnecessary because it can be eaten raw, So it doesn’t need to fry that hard, I just ended up throwing all of it in the trash. What a waste of time and money.

Sweet people and very delicious food. Drove to their location twice while visiting near Orlando. And they did not disappoint. Everything was so good and authentically Bahamian.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. Love because I enjoy Caribbean food, specifically conch. Being from Miami, that’s kind of what we do. Hate because they always seem to be out of something. I don’t drive, so I tend to order from them through DoorDash. We already know how risky that is. I can count on one hand the number of times my order has been correct. This is why I have learned to call them and check their stock before ordering. What’s worse is that their conch fritters are 95% batter and 5% conch (and that’s being generous). My mom didn’t enjoy them either. I don’t want to discourage others from eating from this place, as I understand human error, and I don’t know the pressures of running a food truck, but since this is Winter Haven, I really counted on Simply Bahamian to give me a taste of home away from home. I know they may not even pay attention to this review, but if they do, I hope it pushes them to do better. And I hope their business thrives!

Having been born and raised in South Florida and marrying into a Bahamian Family, real Bahamian food is non-existent here until now! We found the food truck just browsing Google. We had to check it out. Unsure if it was the real deal due to lack of food diversity. . .but this is the REAL DEAL! We ordered the Cracked Conch Snack Plate. The Conch was perfectly seasoned and tasted fresh. We now know where to go for some Bahamian food. Cannot wait to try some of her desserts. Thank you Simply Bahamian! We will be back.

I picked up a Conch Dinner with rice and potato salad. I also had some Guava Duff and a small Chicken Sousse. It was delicious, perfectly cooked with generous servings. Great place for some tasty food. Highly recommend.

The food was amazing!!! Very friendly service also. We just got back from Bimini where we weren’t able to find guava duff anywhere. The duff was outstanding. Also had pigeon peas & rice, Bahamian macaroni & cheese, & conch fritters which were also delicious. We will definitely be back

You guys cater to our party in December the food was amazing. I would recommend to everyone if you all never, tried conch fritters before please do it’s amazing . The crack conch snack is tender never had conch like that before. The conch and fish is fresh and imported straight from the Bahamas every 2 weeks. I Can’t wait for y’all to open I will be your number one customer!
