Highly recommend the Simple Bakery! The heart-shaped chocolate bread was nicely done – perfect texture, nice chocolate touch but not too sweet. The almond croissant was very delicious. The savory scone was a bit less impressive – it’s a bit plain with light cheese flavor, and maybe some scallion or other ingredients can elevate the flavor profile. Queen-amahn was an interesting items that taste like a mixture of croissant and bread – would recommend if you never try it before.

This is the best sourdough bread I’ve ever had! I’ll be returning just for another loaf but as a bonus, every pastry we bought (a danish, a Kouign-amann and a scone) had the perfect amount of sweetness. The staff was very friendly and patient as well

What a gem!! We really enjoyed the focaccia bread. The daily danish was also delicious (I think it had sour cherries which was really tasty). They also have a lot of coffee for sale with all the info, such as if the roast is mild, medium or dark, the acidity level and the boldness. We bought the one from Costa Rica, light roast and they ground the coffee for French press can’t wait to have it in the morning.

The bakery is clean. I had a cheese danish and a cupcake the cheese danish could of taste better if perhaps was less cold. The cupcake taste good, not too sweet but a bit dry, definitely not soft and moist, but I did enjoy that was not over sweet . I wish I tried some of the loaf bread, they look good but they are huge for the two of us, maybe next time I will buy one and bring it to a friends house to share.

I always get the same thing… and then some extras. The savory scone is a daily item at Simple Bakery that I love. They have roasted onion and cheddar or a maple sausage offering that are awesome to eat with butter or “my way” is to make them into an egg sandwich. Always consistent and fresh with many other sweets, sandwiches, pastries and soups available as well. Great job Simple!

Finally found a bakery that uses “simple” clean ingredients —which I’m surprised is so difficult to find in the first place. Too many places use unnecessary, unnatural ingredients to make it last longer.. but they make you sick in the long run!
