9-12-2025 My dad and I came to this awesome drive-in for the first time. We had pizza burger, cheeseburger, and split a large fries. The waitress was great . The food was hot and delicious . If want a nostalgic experience definitely come here. Very American Graffiti.

I was on my way to Flippin Cow, and on my way I drove by this location, I thought maybe I should try the burger dining experience here instead so I turned around and pulled into a spot.

Sure, I could have stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings or some other chain or franchise. I didn’t have any feedback from any locals or anyone at my hotel, so I didn’t know what to expect as far as price and value. While ordering, I received a tornado/thunderstorm warning. I figured it was no big deal. So, I ordered from the menu and chose the Bacon Cheeseburger and a Drive-in Chicago Dog. While waiting, I took a few pictures of the location, and not more than a few minutes later, the light sprinkles turned into high winds and some heavy rain. These poor women were definitely not dressed for the downpour, and I wasn’t prepared for any storm surprises.

The lady handed me my food, and I was highly surprised by how light my bag weighed. We all know how it feels to spend $20 on wrapped and bagged food to go and judge its heft for content value. The burger and hot dog literally weighed about the same, if not less than a Carl’s Jr. Famous Star.

I got back to the hotel and opened it up in front of the desk clerk, and we were quite surprised at how small the burger and dog was. I guess I must be too used to Portillo’s, In N Out, and other places. Yes, I was disappointed, but I can’t deny the great customer service and the fact it’s a mom and pop business in a competitive arena.

So, in conclusion… it was decent tasting food with excellent customer service while providing the continued experience of in-car dining. Give them a try. They deserve a visit if you’re in the area.

I usually love the food here, but this Monday night was awful. We waited 20 minutes for food & the fries came out way over cooked with blisters on them, like they sat out and just threw them back in the fryer to make them seem fresh. They kept bringing the same fries out 2 more times. The lady that took our order & another curly haired girl that dropped off our food to our car (to go) were just being straight rude and rolling their eyes at my husband. Very saddened by this experience as I have been going there since I was a child. Never once have I had fries way over cooked. They weren’t even edible in my opinion. For the price of the food it wasn’t even worth it. Not sure we will be back. Back to edit: We got home to eat our chicken strips (seemed like they were old and sat around and were reheated, the meat was super tough & it’s usually juicy) & the mushrooms we got weren’t even cooked through the mushrooms inside the breading are raw. Burger was okay enough to eat & the floats were okay.

We live on the Gulf Coast now… and cannot get fried mushrooms or pork tenderloin sandwiches anywhere! So we ALWAYS look forward to the Drive in when we visit family up here. And this year didn’t disappoint!

The root beer was very good. Served in a frosty mug brought back memories of when I was a kid going to A&W drive-ins.

The service was very good. My only dislike was the hamburger. It was good, just not great.

Celebrating 60 years this year, the drive-in is a family favorite for generations. Their homemade root beer is the best there is. A personal favorite combo is some French fries and a big bopper (vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, peanuts, whipped cream topped with a cherry ☺️

Its fun to go to a drive inn when you’re hungry for lunch on a Saturday. Nice weather and the service was friendly and fast. The onion rings were ok but expensive for what you get. The root beer is very good served in the frosty mug. Wife and i had chili dogs. The buns were soft and fresh the chili was thick and tasty but the pale little thin dog got lost in the bun. A bit of a disappointment.

A real old fashioned drive in. Service is great and the food is great. They have their own root beer which is absolutely fantastic. You have to try a root beer float.

Closed for season. Website is not up to date. We made a special trip to visit and thus had to eat elsewhere. As a result we’ve found a better place down the street- Freddy’s Frozen custard and Steak burgers. Their food was better in quality, price and staff was nicer.
