Had the most amazingly delicious meal at Simon’s! The matzo ball soup was so good! The picture of the sauteed walleye does do it justice~ it was delicious!! The rice underneath was tasty, not plain, but not salty like some rice, just very flavorful. Simon’s is a comfy , casual atmosphere. I did not get dessert, but took a picture of the huge cupcakes! Highly recommend.

Place is dated, it hasn’t changed since I was a kid. That’s not bad really, but it could use a good deep clean, and some fresh paint. It just smells old and dated when you walk in. Waitress we had was terrible, not sure what her name was but she was rushing us. We hadn’t even settled into the booth seats before she was asking us what we wanted to drink. My water had something floating in it. I’ve had this happen the last 2 times I’ve been there so either they are not properly cleaning the dishes or something needs to be checked in the filters on the faucets and ice maker. As soon as she dropped off the drinks less than 2 minutes after asking what we wanted she wanted our order. I’m sure some people enjoy this “speedy” service however I found it pushy, as I barely had a chance to look at the menu. But once the order was taken she wasn’t seen for over 20 minutes. Food was subpar this time. I asked for my corned beef cold as I bring half of it home for lunch the next day, they brought it to the table warm. Corned beef was just terrible this time, extra fatty and chewy and full of more gristle then a corned beef should have. I also ordered a larger size and it was smaller then the regular portion, yet I was charged for the larger size. I also ordered a side of onion rings. They were oily yet somehow both burnt and cold. The other person in my party ordered a Patty Melt, it was subpar they said, their fries were bone cold. Overall this was just a massive let down. Simon’s used to be somewhere you could get a good corned beef sandwich but now it’s not even worth the visit. Will probably give it one more try and then we’ll just write it off. Really disappointing as this used to be a special place to go locally.

Everything was fantastic at Simon’s! The Reubens, the waitress, the other people who stopped by our table. The lady who loves desserts. We had such a good time!

First time for me at this establishment. Good variety of choices on the menu. I had the cheeseburger, my wife had the Cleveland chicken sandwich, My brother-in-law had the Reuben sandwich and my sister-in-law had the brisket melt. The food was exceptional and the portion sizes were very good. I do have to say that one thing that was a little odd was that the sizes of the french fries portions were not very equal. Also the tater tots that came with the sandwiches were very small portions. The waitress and service were good. Would definitely recommend.

I almost didn’t stop while working in the area due to a rash of 1 star reviews that popped up. So glad did not listen to the naysayers.
Great deli meal, great service. Dated interior, but really, who cares. It was very clean and comfortable.
Highly recommend.
My onion soup and onion rings were excellent. My Beef Brisket & Cheddar off the specials menu was a little dry, but piled high and very flavorful. If I had to guess, I’d say it had a very good Jewish trim of the fat, which isn’t my favorite way to treat a brisket, but I’m just being picky. My meal was great.

My husband and I got a to go order for a date night to eat together. The food was not as expected. He got the Ruben and I got a chicken sandwich. The chicken was not fully cooked. I noticed it at the end the last few bites. I called and spoke to a manager and she was very friendly and gave us a refund.

Went with a group of 20. First I want to say the servers were amazing and very accommodating to our large group. We were seated in an area by ourselves. I have a few pics of food and everyone seemed pleased with what they ordered. I have pics of veal parmesan, fish with hushpuppies, patty melt and fries, stuffed cabbage dinner, cheeseburger with onions and mushrooms. Finally a piece of cannoli cake that was just ok. This place has been around a long time and is has homestyle type of food. They also have a large selection of desserts. I would choose a different cake the next time. I would recommend Simons.

I will be back to try other menu items. I ordered the King corn beef and it was excellent. As usual, I didn’t take a picture, trying to get better. I only are half the sandwich. My 2 friends got the turkey and club and said they both were great. Our server was there when needed and was very pleasant.

Very good restaurant that serves unique delicatessen items like corned beef, pastrami, chicken paprikash, matzoh ball soup, and more. I was in a large group. The dessert case looks amazing! The wait staff was professional and very attentive.

Great chicken parm and nice waitress. The burgers and other sandwiches looked good as well. The restaurant is kind of outdated and older, but it’s still a great place for food. BTW the deserts looked awesome but I didn’t have any this time.
