Well done Simone’s! We went for Valentine’s Day dinner and had preordered their chateaubriand special for two as well as a beef tenderloin entree. It began with a lovely rose brut toast and the offering of a rose to each of the ladies in our party. We had delicious Caesar salads to begin which were served with great Parmesan toast. The chateaubriand was melt in your mouth – simply cooked to perfection and served with beautifully prepared fresh asparagus and mashed potatoes. The beef tenderloin was a generous cut and once again prepared just perfectly as well.
It rivaled the best popular steak houses. Our finish was nothing short of amazing. We had a warmed white bread pudding served with whipped cream that was beyond delicious and disappeared. We also had a hazelnut chocolate mousse cake served with fresh strawberry ice cream which was memorable. The service on such a busy evening was spot on. Kudos to the staff and management for making a special evening enjoyable and seamless. We have dined here several times and it is always consistent and good. A real gem!

We called ahead for 3 at 6:30 but we weren’t able to be seated until about 7:15, everything after the wait was nothing short of amazing!
Our waitress was so friendly and provided excellent recommendations. We started with the giant meatball appetizer and their delicious bread.
I had the short rib as my entree and my husband had the Chicken Parmesan. Usually I would not want “fried chicken with red sauce” but everything tasted amazing. Their house made noodles stand out in addition to all other pairings on the plate complimenting each other.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Simone’s Wood Fired Craft Kitchen. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a scratch Italian kitchen in St. Augustine.

My husband and I dined twice over this past week when we visited the area. We loved the vibe of the resteraunt. The food was really good. The calamari was divine! We loved that it was served with hit marinara sauce and peppers – it was very reminiscent of how it is served in Europe which I love way more! The bread pudding was divine! The lasagna serving was huge! My least favorite thing was the mushroom pizza, I thought it lacked flavor, mushroom amount, and the crust was just meh. Overall, we loved it. I am sure some people adore the pizza, just comes down to preference. But definitely worth a stop! Oh, and the jam jar wine is great!

Great local real Italian restaurant. We started out with the goat cheese bruschetta, our #1 go-to appetizer. My wife had the huge serving of lasagna, must have been 10 layers+, I had the roast with homemade pasta, all very delicious. We finished our meal with the bread pudding, more of a rich custard and the best we’ve ever had. Rosie was our server, very knowledgeable, attentive, great customer service and an asset to the Simone’s organization. Would highly recommend.
Thanks,

What a nice surprise. Had lunch there today, and the food was outstanding. The side salads, choice of 3 different ones, were huge, fresh, and had a variety of ingredients. My main event was Lasagna which was served in a sizzling cast iron skillet. The portion could have been split, but my wife had Linguine with meatballs and marinara sauce. The meatballs (2) were the size of tennis balls, cooked and seasoned to perfection and on a bed of pasta. Last but not least, the desert was White Chocolat Bread Pudding, I’ll just say it was SMOOTH. Tomorrow, round two when we polish off the leftovers.

My wife and I shared a pizza. We asked for a side of marinara to dip the crust in. All the ingredients in the pizza were super fresh. The marinara was the bomb. Possibly the very best I’ve tasted in years. Jenny, our server, was terrific. She was on top of it all. We actually asked if she was the owner as she treated her responsibilities like a pro. We will return.

Everything here is very consistent and wonderful. My favorite is the Pollo al Marsala. If they have the apple cobbler, just get it. You won’t regret it.

My new favorite spot for Italian! The Chicken Marsala is THE best. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Get the bread pudding! Heads up, there is usually a wait at dinner times so call ahead if you can to be put on the list!

We walked in and got a table even though we had to park in the next parking lot. The waitress got refills right when we needed them. Our entree came in very quickly within around 10 minutes of ordering it. I have NEVER had 3 really good sweet tea refills and that’s all I got, 3 of the most perfect drinks which seems impossible considering that I’ve been to plenty of sit in restaurants. This is by far the best service and food I have ever eaten. And surprisingly not crazy expensive.

Perfection. The food, the staff (our waitress Leslie was so personable, gave great recs), everything about here is worth going. We started with a (delicious) special – fried mozzarella appetizer. For entrees, we had the Funghi E Formaggio pizza (which could easily feed 2 adults) and the Linguini Con Polpette (drool worthy, also big enough to share….or take home leftovers). Both were amazing! We felt we had to try the desserts, so we ordered cannoli and tiramisu. The only reason we didn’t finish was because we were so full from dinner. We can’t wait to go back just so we can try new dishes! We went early (4:30) and had no trouble getting a table.
