Such a cute cafe! I was warmly greeted by one of the employees, Anthony, and he so welcoming. Very great conversationalist. Anything I needed, he provided for me. The atmosphere is very inviting and calming with a little bit of music playing in the background. I got the chocolate croissant and a vanilla latte which were so good. It’s also a wonderful place to sit and chill.

We walked here for a quick bite and we were very pleased. The coffee was delicious and the breakfast sandwiches were unique but tasty. It’s not your usual croissant sandwich. It’s more like a homemade french bread square sandwich. It was great! The place is pretty small and there is seating available outside, however BEWARE OF THE MOSQUITOS

Great coffee and atmosphere. A little pricey but completely worth it. Their egg sandwiches are super fresh and to die for. You can tell they have good ingredients in everything! We came all the way from Miami, Fl and were impressed!

Love their coffee and their pastries— the folks who work there put a lot of care into that. I just tried their matcha and it was lacking. Tasted only of oatmilk. The men on their staff are also usually pretty gruff and can’t be bothered to be kind or helpful in the morning but make a great cup of coffee.

Decided to check out Simon’s Cafe for breakfast instead of Starbucks and I’m so glad I did. Anthony was so kind and warm. It didn’t take long for him to hear my NC accent and he immediately gave me such a warm welcome similar to what I’m used to at home. Thank you for that!

I ordered the Wilson and wish it lasted long enough to take pictures. It was yummy and the bread was so fresh. Thank you all for a warm start to this cold winter morning!

I actually enjoyed my chai latte, but was very offended by the man who waited on us. He was very rude when we were inquiring about the different flavor/syrup options. His exact words were “I’m sorry if it’s not enough for you but it’s enough for me.” Keep in mind that we never expressed an issue and it was our first time visiting so we were only getting a feel for what we wanted to order… He also did not offer us a warm welcome and we almost had to flag him down when we were ready to order.

After a year of visiting this coffee shop, I finally had to leave a review: the service is truly 11/10. The drinks are consistently good, the tables are clean, and it’s a great spot to work from outside the house. Food options are limited, mostly scones, croissants, and a small breakfast menu, but everything is fresh. The music is at the perfect volume for focus, although it’s not the best place for video calls. I love this shop, and I appreciate the staff for creating such a warm and welcoming place for the community.

Clean, airy & bright cafe with warm service, conveniently located near Marriott Courtyard hotel. Very tasty buckwheat raspberry honey scone, decent egg & cheese sandwiches but wished they’d toast the bread & include a bit of greens. Coffee is ok but not our favorite, more of personal taste preference. Recommend people to try & check out the lovely atmosphere. We’ll probably return for the scone but get our coffees/breakfast items elsewhere.

I stopped by Simona Cafe recently and had a great experience. The pastries were fresh and flavorful, and the coffee was very well made with a smooth finish. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a nice place to relax for a bit. Staff were friendly and the service felt warm and genuine. I’m glad to have found this spot and definitely plan to come back.

Simona Cafe in NoMa is a gem. Keith and Corey delivered standout hospitality, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely personable from the moment I walked in. The coffee is high quality and tastes as good as it smells because I’m picky like every other human with opinions lol

I ordered the Nova and it was the perfect breakfast bite: fresh, flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what I wanted without feeling heavy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of place you actually want to sit for a bit instead of sprinting out with your cup.

Highly recommend Simona Cafe. I’ll be back, and I’d absolutely point friends to this spot!
