The environment is clean and comfortable, with a nice atmosphere. The service was excellent — the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was served promptly. The dishes were delicious, the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely come back again!

I had the pleasure to dine here for the first time. The staff was very welcoming especially our waiter, Hannah, who was very kind, courteous and hospitable. Our party was hungry and she recommended us the mixed beef and chicken combo. She informed us the food was halal certified which was fantastic and incredibly delicious. Good food, service and clean, well lit restaurant. Tried a variety of items. You scan a qr code and order from the table. We had the onion pancake (good, a little oily as expected), dumplings (tasty), dry beef bowl (nice mix of veggies and beef. Has peanuts and fries), green pepper fish noodle soup (photo on menu does not match dish and the green pepper isnt bell pepper, it is a little spicy) and lamb skewers (well seasoned). Would be nice to have the smaller items (dumpling, pancake, skewers) served first as an appetizer and the larger items as main dishes. Items were served as they were ready so we got the dumplings served last

This is my second time coming to Simmer Huang and both times I didn’t have any wait time. I did come during the weekday so that might’ve been the reason. It’s located on the second floor on top of Jack’s.
I was seated quickly since there wasn’t really any people there during that time. I wasn’t handed a menu on both times and had to figure out by myself to scan the QR code on the table. The only thing I didn’t like about that is the items weren’t really descriptive. Ordering through the QR code didn’t let me know what was in the broth or if it was spicy or not. I had to wave a worker and ask them. And unfortunately the one I ordered thinking that it wasn’t spicy was still a bit spicy for my level. The broth was still good, but I had to take little sips at a time due to the spiciness.
The price is pretty nice for an all you can eat hot pot. Monday – Thursday the price is around $20 per person after taxes. You get four choices of meat. My personal favorite were the lamb and pork. You can also add other type of meats for an additional charge.
Overall I like the location, meats, price, and broth. If I was feeling like eating all you can eat hotpot during the weekday then this would be my go to spot.

Pretty bad experience. Hit in almost every bad direction you can think of an restaurant:
1. Expect 30 mins+ of waiting till food is ready to eat. This is extremely long for a workday lunch time.
2. Food quality is not worth the wait neither. The shrimp, scallops and oysters are not fresh and pretty small.
3. There was barely any service during our time there. They also missed quite a few added items in both pots, which is making the experience even worse….
This is totally below what I expected and won’t come again.

Came here for a casual working lunch. Service was excellent, food was great, but the restaurant was open for karaoke at the same time sharing the same space. The volume was high and singers were amateurs, making lunch conversation difficult for others and atmosphere less comfortable for diners. Many still for the staff member for helping to control volume.
Maybe it would be nice to separate dining and karaoke spaces.
