I popped in for a quick bite but I didn’t have much time so I placed the order and went to go pick up. The online ordering process was so easy!
I walked in and the woman was so welcoming and told me my order would be right out. Her hospitality combines with the beautiful wall art, decorations and their Salvadorian pride flag gave such an inviting and warm atmosphere.
I ordered a couple Pupusa Revulta that had chicharon, beans and cheese in side and it was such a good combination! The Pupusa was cooked perfectly, the chicharon was so tender and flavorful and there was just the right amount of beans and cheese inside! Paired with the sides of salsa and pickled cabbage made for such a good meal!
Overall Silvia Pupuseria is a gem! I highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back!
Pupusas were so amazing!
Loved the Revuelta most. Their curtido and salsa roia were both on point, slight tang and so savory.
Cheese quesadilla was thick and had excellent cheese pull, but that green salsa, come on, so tasty!
Can’t wait to have these heavenly noms again!
My parents are Caribbean and know good food, therefore they will not just eat from anywhere. Sylvia’s has been so consistently delicious that at 10pm(PDT) tonight, my parents called me to order pupusas on Uber Eats. Unfortunately I had to break it to them that Sylvia’s closes at 8pm. I told my mom I could place an order with another pupuseria that’s open, instead she jumped up into the kitchen to prepare a home cooked meal.
For my family, pupusas are Sylvia’s or nothing.
Much love!
Beyond the food, the hospitality here is warm and welcoming, making it feel like a true neighborhood spot. Another big plus is the parking—it’s located in a large free parking lot, so there’s no hassle trying to find a spot. The only downside is that the indoor dining area doesn’t quite match the quality of the food. The décor is outdated, and the space could definitely use a remodel to make it more inviting.
Still, with pupusas this good, it’s easy to overlook the ambiance. If you’re craving authentic Salvadoran comfort food, this place is absolutely worth a visit—I’ll definitely be back!
