We hadn’t been to this area in years, and with they destruction of cumberland ave, we didn’t plan to be in the area, coming home from our son’s basketball game, and found a new great place to enjoy dinner. Great service, huge portions very good pricing as well, I definitely recommend having a meal here. It’s definitely a redo from us.

The food here is amazing, one of the best Mexican restaurants in Knoxville. The chicken is especially tender and juicy, it falls apart in your mouth. Service was friendly and helpful. Prices are a little high, but it’s worth it for the quality of food. I do wish the seating was a little more spread out, but other than that I can’t really complain. Great spot for a quality meal.

I came here a few days ago, my food lacked flavor. I took a few bites and told my waitress I didn’t like it and she took it to the kitchen and informed me the manager would come over. The manger never came, and my waitress never asked if I wanted anything else in replacement of the meal. I was never even given another menu. We ordered more drinks and i asked her what happened to the manager coming and she stated they took it off the bill. I wasn’t looking for anything to be taken off, but I came there to eat and they didn’t ask if i wanted anything else or even give me a new menu. I waved down the manager and tried to explain and he tried to ARGUE with me. My friend chimed in and told him that our waitress never even attempted to take my order again nor brought another menu. I understand servers can’t control the kitchen, but the front of the house can control the customer service. And I see the lack of good service comes from management and trickles down.

The food was simply amazing. My wife never finishes all of her food in one sitting, but couldn’t stop because the food was “Too good to reheat”. The drinks were also well mixed and well priced. If you want a relaxing authentic experience I would definitely recommend Silvia’s.

A nice place to have food for the people around, offering a sweet atmosphere with great ambiance and delicious cuisine. They also have outdoor seating. While it is popular among UTK students, there are other better places for Mexican food.

This was our first visit. We really enjoyed the chips and Queso which had a kick. The chicken Fajitas were good, but we prefer ours with a little more flavor. They we’re served with a cup of melted garlic butter which we didn’t care for. It’s a busy placed located on the UT campus. They have covered parking in the attached garage behind the restaurant and a few additional spaces on the street out front. We will revisit and try something different from the menu next time

This place used to be good, I’m not sure what has happened but we just got 2 dinners from there and it was horrible. They didn’t put the sour cream, lettuce and pico on the side like we ask and the food was not good at all. I will never eat here again!

Literally zero seasoning on anything. Took one bite of my taco salad and spit it out. Ground beef was boiled at best and my shell was overflowing with refried beans. I asked for the check and the server didn’t even attempt to comp anything or ask what was wrong. I had to tell them that there was no flavor. My husband’s chalupa was actually a tostada.. also covered in beans and was soggy . We didn’t eat at all and spent $42. No apology, no manager. This is authentic Mexican??

The beef empanada was amazing: tasty, lots of meat, and yummy sauces for dipping. I could have made a meal of them. My wife had the barbacoa tacos, which were delicious and ample. I had the Mexican flag enchiladas (beef, chicken, cheese) and all three were great, but the cheese was outstanding. Washed everything down with jumbo too shelf margaritas. Our server was awesome: there when we needed her, but never rushing us.

This restaurant makes me want to move to this town! EVERYTHING was so delicious! And do you see the size of that burrito? It was HUGE! My hubby got the Burrito Plaza with carne asada y chorizo, and I had the carnitas with charro beans. I could not finish all of my meal because it was so much food, but I just had to try their sopapillas, and I’m SO glad I did! Absolutely phenomenal! Perfect balance of puffy and crispy tortillas with cinnamon, sugar, honey, ice cream and strawberry slices!
