good portions and good quality food 🙂 customer service is always helpful, servers are very attentive. got the pork belly bowl for the first time and it was very yummy. the pieces were meaty and a bit crispy which was nice. always love their boiled/seasoned eggs, such a good jammy texture.

Delicious ramen I loved that you could make the ramen spicy with the chili paste they give you. The ramen had amazing flavor with growth that was not too thick. The pork was thicker than it looks in the ramen. I was happy to see the pork piece was hiding under the broth. The chicken was also crunchy but juicy inside. I ordered the blaze ramen medium spicy with pork, shown in the first picture.

The food was good and came out fast. The ramen and one slice of pork belly were not worth the $15 price. The waitress came back to bring us the check and walked away. She didn’t ask if we wanted anything else or if we would like our drinks refilled. NO SERVICE NO TIP.

I’m glad Downey now has a decent ramen-dedicated spot, as opposed to having to go to a Japanese restaurant that only offered 1 type of ramen and 1 udon. This place was perfect for a rainy day.
Ramen was pretty good, noodles had a good bouncy texture to it. The chicken threw me off, but that’s my fault for getting the chicken. I think it would’ve tasted better if I had gotten pork.
Service seemed busy as I did come in during lunch time. A lot of employees from nearby offices, clinics, etc. were dining in and also saw a decent amount of mobile orders being picked up. I was by myself and sat at the bar. Workers looked busy, so sometimes felt inconvenient asking them for something, but couldn’t fault them for that. The girls were friendly and did their job well.
Ambiance was clean and organized. They do a waitlist via Yelp, so I’m sure it comes in handy on weekend rushes.

First time visit, and we enjoyed the food. What I’d definitely hope they change soon is that there is a sign-in clipboard that is placed near the entrance and unfortunately we were sat right next to it. Had literally about a dozen people walking up to, and standing over us. Very uncomfortable. Other than that I’d definitely recommend visiting.

I am not one to do this but come on it’s 2026 the prices are darn high to not receive the customer service we deserve. Very bad customer service. The vibe was off. One of the workers looked high. The girl with the tattoos look like she was mad dogging me. The gyozas were undercooked and when I tried to tell the workers she walked away and ignored me. She then proceeded with telling me that I was the one who gave her attitude when I was only trying to get her attention to tell her about the gyozas and the missing seaweed I had ordered. Very disappearing in today’s service. Not going back again.

Came when it was empty and most recently when it was raining and the place was packed. Atmosphere was great both times! When it was packed, we only waited less than 5 minutes. Very attentive service and amazing food!
