Silverlake Ramen Burbank

  4.0 – 161 reviews  $$ • Japanese restaurant

Born and bred in the city of angels. Silverlake Ramen was created with a combined passion and experience for creating ramen that embodies delicious quality, and traditional ingredients. We stand true to our ramen, and believe it’s the best we’ve ever had…A ramen our neighbors can brag about! Silverlake embodies the free spirit and casual vibe of Los Angeles. Cooked up by two chefs who drove their love for noodles and ramen, they dreamed up a brand that would be unpretentious, and original in it’s way of thinking. Similar to the environment in which ramen was invented. We are now taking that vibe and serving up bowls of it in locations across the nation.

I feel like this restaurant is a cross between a normal restaurant and a fast food restaurant, so you shouldn’t take it too “serious”. All of the servers were really nice and the food came very quickly. All of our dishes were very tasty and I think this would be a great hangover food!

We ate here last night and it wasn’t my favorite experience. The wait staff was not super engaging with us the entirety of our meal. It was more of a “what do you want” and then disappear service style. We had to wait a couple minutes for them to prepare a table for us and by the time it was prepared it seemed as if the table settings were not properly equipped. No soy sauce and 2 napkins in the holder. The best part about my meal was the pork bun which was really good but my ramen was pretty bland and the noodles were pretty mushy for what I would consider good ramen. Definitely feels more like a chain restaurant that pumps out quick service rather than good service which was disappointing. I would not recommend this as there’s much better ramen in LA.

We had the ramen and the pork bowl; both were great with good portions and prices.

Worst service and experience, not like the other location at all. I ask for my appetizer first, it was not. I explained to her I’m allergic to peanuts, shellfish and seaweed so no seaweed in my noodle. She brought it with seaweed in my noodles and when I pointed it out she took it out with her hand. My waitress never came back so I had to send it back with the guy who brought my appetizers when they came. I would not recommend this location, maybe I need to go back and give them another try but not it at all.

Amazing ramen! There can sometimes be a bit of a wait but the service is great. The Blaze ramen is really creamy and a perfect balance of spice. I usually go with the medium level and it’s incredibly delicious and the noodles are cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend as place to try at least once!

Nice place, stuff is super friendly. I ordered a combo Blaze tonkotsu ramen with fried gyoza – both were a bit too oily

So glad they finally opened in Burbank. I ordered the tasty Blaze Ramen. Love the extra in house chili paste they offered. The Fried Gyoza was crispy and juicy to the bite. The Chicken Karage had light breading that was also crispy and juicy. Resturant was airy and clean. I will be back to try the other delicious items on the menu soon.

Sushi is new on their menu and it is delicious! I ate the California Roll and it was really good quality with a good price. The servers were very kind and polite to my family. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes to eat a variety of food at one restaurant like ramen and sushi at once. Great restaurant to take your family and friends.
