Really enjoyed Silverlake. My coworker said I should try it out and it didn’t disappoint. I had the Shoyu On Fire and subbed the chicken it comes with for the Crispy Chicken Karaage, medium spice level and it was really good! The portion size is good and the flavor is 10/10. The server was attentive and kind. Thank you!

Came for the ramen, stayed for the vibes! I ordered the spicy veggie ramen and it was DELICIOUS. Impossibly creamy sesame broth, perfectly crisp grilled broccolini on top, FRESH noodles – and $5 Asahi on tap was the cherry on top. They also happened to be playing late 90s-early 2000s pop rock which made my heart as happy as my stomach. Service was excellent – friendly and caring, just the right amount of subtly checking on customers without hovering. Everything was also really clean and set up to be comfortable and welcoming. If I ever make it back to Atlanta, I’ll return for more ramen!

Parking was a pain in this area, but they validate your ticket if you park in the appointed garage. It’s a short walk from the garage to the restaurant.
There were only two staff members running the whole place, making drinks and cleaning as well, but they were friendly and nice. The food was just so-so. We had:
– Tonkotsu: I substituted chicken for pork, but the chicken was very dry
– Fried gyoza
– Karaage chicken
The food was just average, and so was the atmosphere, nothing special.

I recently visited Silverlake Ramen in Midtown, and here’s a balanced, four-star Google-style review:
Silverlake Ramen offers a solid, casual spot for a quick bowl in Midtown. The housemade noodles are satisfyingly chewy, and the broth carries a rich, savory depth that’s especially comforting on a chilly day.
I went for the “Shoyu on Fire,” which is a smart pick if you want a little extra kick—it comes with a spicy chicken broth and a hint of lime that gives it character and livens things up. The crispy rice with spicy tuna and the pork buns are standout appetizers too—the crispy rice has a nice kick from jalapeño, balanced with cool avocado, and the pork belly in the buns is tender with a tasty hoisin mayo.
The space itself feels a bit corporate—comfortable and efficient, but not particularly warm or unique. The full bar is a nice bonus if you’re in the mood for something more than soup, though.
Service was friendly enough, and overall I was satisfied with my meal. A few minor things held me back from giving five stars, like the generic interior vibe and a few milder broth options—but if you’re after a reliable ramen fix in Midtown, this is a solid choice.

Atmosphere was very downtown atlanta. Service was almost terrible. We were unable to flag our waiter down when there was something missing in our ramen. The food though will definitely cause me to come back and try again.

I visited Silverlake Ramen with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. They offer an Americanized twist on traditional ramen, which I found to be a drawback compared to places like Hajime or Jinya. I ordered the Shoyu Blaze ramen, and it was quite disappointing—just one slice of Chashu, half an egg, and a grilled jalapeño that didn’t add much to the dish. As for the truffle ramen, it was lackluster and not worth mentioning.
The only highlight of my meal was the chicken kimchi buns, which were enjoyable. However, the service, while slow, was friendly. Overall, considering the prices and quality, you can definitely find much better ramen options in the metro Atlanta area. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a satisfying bowl of ramen.

I had the Blaze Ramen with Pork Bun. Phenomenal. I had it medium as you can choose from 3 different levels of heat. They had chopsticks that were kinda of square instead of the round ones. Mellow music in background was relaxing while I ate the awesome food. Full of Flavor!
